Whatās one of the best things about working as a Red Cross Phlebotomist, taking donations at blood drives that move around the community?
According to Hal itās the variety - traveling to different locations and interacting with new people. āEverything is new each day,ā Hal says.
When he started with the Red Cross 16 years ago, Hal drove the trucks that carry equipment to mobile blood donation clinics. The Red Cross trained him to become a Phlebotomist and these days he draws blood from donors at mobile blood drives, like this one at St. Maryās Church in Los Gatos.

Hal: "Kiss you to wake you up, my Apple-pie!"
Apple: "Oh Hal, I love you!"
Hal: "Yes, I think we should start now."
Apple: "What do you mean?"
