Haven't had a waterfall for a while, so here's one from late last year. This is the Sgwd Isaf Clun Gwyn in Waterfall Country in the Bannau Brycheiniog in Wales. This view takes a bit of scrambling so is not that accessible, but it is the only way to see these falls 'front-on' rather than the more usual which is from the righthand side of this image.

Gwyn and Alex were sharing a special moment on Saturday when I went in to work.

Yo, I got that hit to beat the block

You can get that bass on below

I got that rock 'n' roll, that future flow

That digital spit, next level visual shit

I got that (boom, boom, boom)

How the beat bang? (Boom boom boom)

I like that boom boom pow

Them chickens jackin' my style

They try to copy my swagger

I'm on that next shit now

I'm so 3008

You so 2000 and late

I got that boom, boom, boom

That future boom, boom, boom

Let me get it now

Gwyn is always up to no good, she got us blasted, minus Lovely Lally who stood tall, and proud stealing the cash!

Missing our Poppy, she undoubtedly would be hauling gold.

Thanks to Bear for allowing us to have some fun on his property!

No donuts, chickens, lighters, lace masks, gold bars, clowns, or Heps were harmed while making this picture.

At least I think it was called this!

I'd travelled down with Mark the day before and did the Elidir Trail so Wednesday was the Four Fall Trail with Clive joining us. I've only met Clive once before, in London, but was well aware of his walking capabilities....after half a day with him where we covered the same distance but 5 times the elevation of the entire previous day I have come to the conclusion Clive is in fact a machine!

He doesn't stop, well apart from to take photos and to wait for me to catch up.

Looking forward to the next trip!

Met up with Opobs,Leighton,Scot,Rob ,Dan & Si well i did not get to meet Opobs as per usual i stayed on the opposite side of the cove to everyone else , Hope the Cuppa Tea was nice after Scot , in fact i only said goodbye to everyone else as we all left a disapointing sunset far to much cloud and far to bloody cold .

ND1000 time for a beach, my 1st attempt the Sky was immense just to heavy in cloud ,we are never happy , The sunset lacked any colour at one point it looked so good , ive wanted to capture the tide perfect at this set of rocks , so i guess another re visit soon .

Another shot of Bwa Gwyn, a little later with different exif settings.

The Fall of the White Meadow, and the first time I have seen it with the flow all the way across the brink. It's a tremendous sight when in full spate.

Last time I was here, the flow was a lot less and I scrambled down the opposite bank to get a better angle, and ended up sliding in up to my waist - not something I would fancy trying when its in full spate like this.

9 days off work Metcheck.com said 90% cloud cover and the rain was going to stop for sunrise so could have had lots of drama the tide were going to be perfect also .The fog however was not playing photography , Happy with the result NO HDR for this shot i do however have that ready to process .Think i best check the weather for the morning as the tides are perfect yet again .Hopefully i can leave the umbrella in the car

This shows the extreme depths we go to to get the angle - this waterfall is so difficult to get thE right angle with out putting your self and gear at risk - today i chose to play safe and tackle it from different angles to my usual mad spots - the sun was rising as i got here :-)

The image below was taken the other side of the rocky out crop in this image :-)

O skeiñ war-zu ar mor/ A n-aghaidh ar an bhfarraige/ Looking seawards - Aberdyfi, Meirionnydd, Gwynedd

promenade /prŏm″ə-nād′, -näd′/

noun

1. A leisurely walk, especially one taken in a public place as a social activity.

2. A public place for such walking.

3. A formal dance; a ball.

Holland America Line has a Promenade Deck on all their ships that goes completely around. A nice, quiet place to go for an evening stroll. Many people also go out during the day to read, I guess the sunlight and waves make great companions for bodice rippers!

When I first saw this shot it just spoke to me. I can't tell you why or define what it is that I like, it just spoke to me and I knew I had to post it. For me.

Another of the 'Four Waterfalls' of Ystradfellte, Brecon.

just spent 2 days resting in bed , pushing myself to hard , so quick stop and easy walk to Ogwr ~ Bwlch Gwyn, stood 25 minutes in the rain then the tide and dram unfolded :-)

It was cold blustery day and the sea was a joy to watch as the waves came crashing into the 'Arch'

I was that mesmerised by the scene unfolding before me, I nearly forgot to take my shot.

Not the greatest of sunsets but certainly worth the trip... There were nearly more photographers on the rocks than fishermen!
