Suhas Joshi. Architect by profession. Dabbled in Advertising. Plays the flute because he wants to listen to it, he says! "I am a very selfish artist like that.. I play it because I want to listen to it." It makes him happy. His honest approach towards his art and skill has kept it pure. One can usually be witness to his musical sessions at Prithvi Cafe, Mumbai. In that corner, under that tree, we hear him playing amidst all the chatter of the aavaam and his electronic tabla.
One fine day, when I had weeped like a baby, he handed me the Flute and asked me to play! Pbbbtt happened. But since then, because I tried, I know for sure that I want to go back and give my lungs another chance!
Things don't happen in a day. We cant be good at or master something in a day. Not the Salsa I tried my feet at, not the Flute I tried my lungs at. It takes time :)
Go slow, go steady. Be focussed. And have your heart in it.
Dheemi aanch pe pakaaye. Swaad tab hi aayega :)
Words cannot express how much Guruji has blessed us with his love, his wisdom and with this great practice. We appreciate and adore him not just for him, but for all that he has brought us.
this is from 2002. i made a chart and kept track of my daily aches and pains. red areas denote "hot spots". although there are lots of 8's in the daily notes(knees), i think 1C is still the most painful.
Journey of Love
Let the journey begin! Grow with us on a grand adventure with true Love as the aim.
One full day of the Just Love Festival was focused in honour the Pandharpur Wari on the special day of Ashadi Ekadashi. This famous yearly pilgrimage is known for its thousands of pilgrims devoted to Vitthala, who walk for days to received darshan of their Beloved at Pandharpur, all the while carrying the relics of Maharashtrian saints like Tukaram and Dyaneshwar.

I must admit, I never thought I would see Guruji in a 2 page layout in Vanity Fair. While it is a bit trippy, I still believe that any time Yoga, in any form is spread afar, that it is a good thing. Not because popularity means anything, but because somehow, somewhere this image may lead to the increase of authentic wisdom. You never know....

We celebrated the birth of Christ with Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda in His international ashram, Shree Peetha Nilaya. We had a long and beautiful liturgy for Christmas Eve, describing and honouring the miracle of Jesus' birth and then we sang and danced until long after midnight. The next morning Guruji led a sweet Abhishekam with baby Jesus and the devotee children.
During His satsang afterwards, Guruji said that Jesus came to Earth to help humanity move away from the fear of God and to realise the Love of God. He reminded us that we must focus on transforming ourselves to find God's presence within ourselves first, and then we will be able to see God in others. After the satsang, the children sang holiday songs in English, French and German, and finally, a play depicted the life of Saint Seraphim of Sarov.
After that, everyone gathered for the traditional Bhakti Marga Christmas family meal. The residents served the guests while speakers told stories and Guruji enjoyed throwing out candies and cake pops to everyone.
