There's no doubt that one of my many guilty pleasures these days is the nearly daily nap that I allow myself. Since going to bed at a decent hour has proved impossible, the next best thing is to have a bit of a nap in the afternoon...
JulieFrick, feeling guilty because of her late blocks in the TwitterBee, offered to put together a charm pack of fabrics out of her stash for me. Given how paltry my fabric stash was, I jumped at the opportunity (even though it wasn't necessary to send me anything in apology! but if you're offering me fabric, I'll take it!). I requested blues/mustards/grays, because I've got this quilt idea brewing in my head.
She sent me a TON to choose from, and I've narrowed my choices down to these to go with the blues and grays I'd already purchased. I'm really excited about this quilt now! It's going to be a smallish lap blanket quilt for my cousin's upcoming wedding.

I have had my foster dog Luxie for about 1.5 weeks. She is coming along really well. She earned the name Luxie the lunatic when she first came to my house...and now I would have to say she is lovely Luxie. She still has a long way to go, but has learned several commands, and responds well to direction, She is full of energy- but she is only 8 months old. She will more than likely go up for adoption officially next week.

Geez....the people I hang out with are always trying to get me in trouble. This is Alaine coming down the stairs at St. Andrews. She went up even though the sign clearly said that only the choir was allowed up there. So naughty.

I spent some time with Six today because I felt guilty for almost letting her take off and travel. Working on her eyes...not happy with it yet...too orange. I'll try again later.
