here is the photo of megz sleeping while standing up! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! there was a discussion on one of my sister's photos about megz sleeping while standing up and he was denying it, saying he was innocent. folks, this is a skill. i swear to god he was out for several minutes while we waited to be seated at banana bay. i knew there was a reason i saved this photo for all these months... and look at my sister, treating megz like a tourist attraction! hehe.
I will admit, my favorite dessert is vanilla ice cream with plain m&m's on it..... I've been finding it very hard to stick to my diet here recently, perhaps because summer is over and there isn't much motivation...
Last night after having McDonald's with Zach, I indulged with the last of the m&m's and ice cream... C'est la vie!

Processed using Adobe Lightroom... Also another attempt at using the FL-36R flash... Placed to the right of the subject, pointed at the wall to the right to bounce back at the subject.... The preset I used is one I developed myself.. I call it whitewash... high-contrast, muted colors (although I turned them up a little here in lightroom), and slight vignette....

This is Sees Candy, a store that is impossible to pass by. They didn't want the camera inside but told me to stand just out where I got this shot. That photo is of Mrs. See, long gone. Beware the "ENTER" sign - you put on calories just looking and they always give free samples.

The Ring-tailed Lemur is highly social, living in groups of up to 30 individuals. It is also female dominant, a trait common among lemurs. To keep warm and reaffirm social bonds, groups will huddle together forming a lemur ball. The Ring-tailed Lemur will also sunbathe, sitting upright facing its underside, with its thinner white fur towards the sun.
Despite being listed as Near Threatened by the IUCN Red List and suffering from habitat destruction, the Ring-tailed Lemur reproduces readily in captivity and is the most populous lemur in zoos worldwide, numbering more than 2000 individuals. It typically lives 16 to 19 years in the wild and 27 years in captivity.
