The Guide Falls are a gentle flow in summer and a raging torrent during winter. A very beautiful site. Also a must see near here is a visit to the cheese factory for cheese buying and tasting. Australia

View On Black

Searching for compositions in the dark, I came across this natural pathway leading toward the rising milky way.

I've opened up dates in March for photographing scenes like this for anyone interested in leveling up their night photography in one of the most beautiful desert landscapes and designated night sky parks, Death Valley.

I hope good light becomes a good guide for all on this new year!!

A winding path leads to the famous lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada, as the setting sun cast golden rays across the sky.

Today, as Canadians head to the polls, may we find leadership that, like this lighthouse, stands firm and lights the way through uncertain seas.

Here is the second image from Iceland, captured in a place you may not have heard of: Grjótagjá. This cave is one of the most challenging locations I’ve ever photographed a dog in.

While traversing the entire country, we paused in the northeast to explore beautiful locations like this geothermal lava cave, historically used for bathing due to its hot waters.

Entering was no easy feat; the areas where one could stand were very limited, with just two entrances providing opportunities for photography. Our model displayed remarkable courage, adapting beautifully to this unconventional environment.

Inside the cave, gusts of wind stirred, and the steam obscured my view of the subject in the distance. I’m grateful that Bosì could stay on the rock undisturbed for a few moments, allowing the wind to settle, enabling a clearer shot.

Met up with Ed at Leesylvania State Park in Woodbridge, Virginia for a sunrise shoot not too long ago. No clouds but plenty of color. Was off my game somewhat, I'll be ready next time!

If you have been following along on this exploration of Oman, you have heard me mention my guide numerous times. This is Faisal.

He is dressed in the typical attire that Omani men wear to work and he had a wardrobe that always amazed me. The interesting thing about our meeting is that I learned that he had seen more sights in America than I had. Strangely enough, I had seen more sights in the Arab world than he had.

I guess that my love affair with the Arab world started years ago when I did a road trip through Morocco. The streets are so vibrant with souks and so mysterious with huge doors and walls surrounding individual homes.

Despite the tensions that occur between nations, they are soon forgotten when individuals meet during their travels. This is especially true in Oman, a country that works very hard to stay neutral in the Islamic world.

If ever you decide to take a trip to this hospitable and lovely country, I am certain that you would love being with Faisal. His name is Faisal Al Kindi and you can contact him @ +96898777999 or by email: jetstang96@yahoo.com.

Managed to catch a fleeting 4 mins of sunlight at St Cwyfan's, Anglesey. Always a stunning place to visit.
