Such a limited version of the P1 there were only 40 P1 GTRs made. And to make it even harder to acquire, they were sold to those who already purchased a P1. If you can find one, they run close to $5 million.
One of the 22 Mercedes Benz CLK GTR is currently exposed at Audrain Musuem in Newport, RI.
This great expo is showing a lot a very nice supercars !!
This one is owned by Gioel Molinari known for having some other nice cars (green F40 or F50) and was sold last year by DK Engineering in UK after having set the famous holly trinity photoshoot for Octane.
I have waited so long to take pictures from this car . Bad weather and out scheduled didnt make but last tuesday we had time to shoot this car.
Strobist info:
two ranger rx generators with twoflash heads. All heads was equipped with 18cm diffuser , because of the wind i coundt use big octas on this shoot. Pointed at car about 45´degrees. Triggered with pocket wizard multimax.
Man, i really really miss shooting track days. I had such a blast on this trip up to VIR. Sadly, the famous oak tree in no more there.
Sick combo in London last month! next to the GTR was also an SLR McLaren!

Modena Trackdays 2011 at the Nürburgring.

The ole green n gold here with the Australian Holden GTR Torana , the sporting version of the standard mid sized Torana . First released in 1970 as the LC model it used a 186 cubic inch straight six cylinder engine . Its more powerful brother , the GTR XU1 used the same engine but with more clout . It was created by General Motors Holden to counteract the impact of the Ford Falcon GT V8 cars of the time at Bathurst . This is the countries premier race event with lucrative sales in the balance to the wining manufacturer .
