Nicosia is the capital and largest city on the island of Cyprus, as well as its main business centre.It is located near the centre of the Mesaoria plain, on the banks of the River Pedieos.

I decided I would try and capture some light trails.

Shooting light trails is a great way to experiment with slower shutter speeds to capture fast subjects. Photographing cars moving along a road at dusk is a great starting point, allowing the headlights and tail-lights to blur into long streaks.

Benni is my rescued German Shorthaired Pointer. He is such a sweet boy! Ever since bringing Benni home, I've wondered why GSP's aren't a more popular breed. Yes, they are energetic dogs, but they are also great, loyal companions who love being with their people. Benni also happens to be very, very snuggly (as I've mentioned before). Who could ask for more???

7.5 week old German Short-haired Pointer.

A sunny spring afternoon at home in Mount Dandenong presented the perfect opportunity to spread a blanket out on the lawn, grab my camera and a 70-200 mm lens and fire off some candid shots of our German Shorthair Pointers Reinhardt and Zelda at play. These are the results.

For those interested, the scarring on Zelda's nose is caused by Canine Lupus, which also affects her claws and tail, but otherwise doesn't seem to faze her at all.
