Forgive me, internets, but there will be some kitty pictures (with added bonus snarl.) One kitsune, one snarl, one zot, one scruffy sofa, one rollei, and an old roll of tri-x (and, aye, those are stress-moons from fumbling the film into a reel with jammed ball-bearings.)

GRUMPY CAT. There's not a shortage of Grumpy Cat project patterns to be used, but I of course wanted to try doing it myself. So I went looking for a photo of her face to use for a model and I picked this one. Haha.
The sewing kit idea came from seeing needle books like this one. I put it together with other books like this one, this one, and this one that include spaces for supplies.
I stole the idea for the cover design from this one, with a white piece on a patterned fabric. It's pretty. I got this fabric in a pack Meg gave me at Christmas last year. I used the font A Gentle Touch for the writing. (P.S. I am almost out of Solvy paper, note to self.)

I'm going away tomorrow to work (with over 100 teenagers) on a performing and visual arts camp for a week.
I don't think she really wants me to go because, while she is here looking rather cute, whenever I tried to take her out of the case she would growl and bite me... Poor Rubes {:-(

Bah I had a long weekend because Shaun & I had our Anniversary and now its back to work, which is never fun :( I have a ton to do and am full of Dread.. Boo hoo.
