It had got to 10 o'clock this evening and, for one reason and another, I hadn't been able to get out with my camera so it was out with the some props to make a picture...and it (kind of) fits the reflection theme for this week (certainly fits the theme better that some of this weeks shots)!

This was the scene yesterday as Jackson moved into his dorm room at BYU. He will only be a few miles away from home and I will probably see him a lot on campus, but it was still bittersweet. Hard to look too long at this picture and not get misty eyed. Kellie tried to keep up a brave front throughout the move in process. Jackson tried to ease the transition by starting an argument about whether his younger brother could keep the tarantula that was living in his room.

A tiny leaf hopper (about 6 or 7 mm long) emerges from one stage of its life to another. When dry, their wings are a very pale ice-blue - almost white, . Here, as they dry, the icy-blue color is accentuated.
