I came across this endearing scene when cycling on the Greenway near Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Its exactly as I found it and I think it says so much. It gave me a lovely warm feeling inside and it tugged at my heartstrings just a little bit too. Maybe Ill just save my growing up for just a little while longer!

Sad we cant freeze time, or stop a moment to hold and treasure forever, to relive. Our children growup, sometimes friends move on, our past becomes vague memories..then forgotten.
Aren't we lucky we are photographers and we discovered a way around all of that..

A common oak's acorn during the process of bearing a new tree. We do not know if the small oak will survive and grow up so we cannot say if the complete reproduction will be successful, but the seed managed its first step with success.

I don't wanna grow-up ! Again ! And again and again !!!
Took a much needed road trip this morning and although it was only 30 minutes south of us, their was a noticeably HAPPY buzz in the air...people were smiling, laughing & greeting one another...hopefully a change is coming...
Peter Pan Sydrome
Peter Pan syndrome describes one's inability to believe that they are of an older age or to engage in behaviour usually associated with adulthood. This syndrome affects people who do not want or feel unable to grow up, people with the body of an adult but the mind of a child. They do not know how to or do not want to stop being children. The term comes from the fictional children's character Peter Pan, who never ages. While it is more commonly attributed to men, it can affect women as well.
