note: i forgot to add, but i decided to give it a try at having a process done 100% in photoshop. i've been working several days on a new preset outside DPP and it seems to work really fine. i still miss the DPP curves but having a workflow entirely attached to cs5 is great for me as i know the app so well. i use it every day for concept art, and have been for years. but for some reason i had never done the same thing for my shots. The previous shot of my son was also done that way and i think i'll investigate even more in that direction.

Noticed these two groups of milkweed bugs in my morning walk today. Can you imagine the topic for the discussion?
This is the central part of the beautiful Martuljek Group. On the left is Oltar, on the right is Velika Ponca. The couloir between them is called Kačji jezik (Snake tongue). The highest summit behind is Škrlatica. Aerial shot, geo-tags only approximate, dia scan.
A flock of Crab Plovers (Dromas ardeola) was making noises and gathering towards a high-land during the tidal sea level rise. In black and white, they looked fabulous against the blue sea. However this was not easy as I have to travel miles on very rough sea beach filled with chest height tidal waters to reach their vicinity. Pics was taken from Jamnagar, Gujrat, India.
