This was more about an exercise of my ability to walk up to total strangers and ask them to pose for photos. Hiding behind a lens is relatively easy, but going face to face with strangers is another gig all together.
Nice comments without copied/pasted group icons are appreciated.

Group Material (began 1979 – 1995)
The AIDS Timeline, 1989
Group Material was a group of New York artists, linked by their frustration with the art market at the beginning of the 1980’s. They worked with different members over a period of 16 years,’ dedicated to social communication and political change’. The AIDS Timeline, a mixed-media installation within the museum, reconstructs the history of AIDS as seen within a web of cultural and political relations. According to Group Material, the timeline, “indicts the government’s inaction (on AIDS) and society’s complicity in that inaction.”

Walking the Coast to Coast Trail through the North York Moors we came across this group of Beaters. It was Grouse hunting season and I thought they all looked so dapper and oh so English so of course I had to take their picture!

On August 1, 2013, a group of senior USAID leaders spoke before the InsideNGO Annual Convention in Washington, DC. From left to right: Alison Smith, InsideNGO Executive Director; Angelique Crumbly, Assistant Administrator, Bureau for Management; Aman Djahanbani, Director, Bureau for Management, Office of Acquisition & Assistance; Susan Reichle, Counselor to the Administrator.
The group has been assisting with tasks such as walking dogs and picking up shopping and prescriptions
This is a view of the group study area on the ground floor. You can just see the Datstream PC at the back of the shot and the ground floor meeting room windows are on the left.

There are no clues as to the date or location of this high-definition photograph.
The chap propping himself up on his left elbow looks a bit like Oscar Wilde during his short-hair phase.
In almost every group photograph there is someone who is not looking at the camera, and sure enough, there he is - standing in the fourth row back.
