Bhangra (Punjabi: ਭੰਗੜਾ, بھنگڑا, bhaṅgṛā) is a lively form of dance that originated in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent. It also refers to a popular music genre which originated in the UK and incorporates Punjabi influences.

This is from my "working days archive" and it's a photo of soccer players at a practice. Because of the fog the practice was cancelled but it made for a good feature photo of silhouettes in the night. This was originally shot on Kodak Tri-X film (asa 400) rated at 1600 asa (now iso) and push processed which increases the grain in the film -- for you "old" photographers out there that may be interested. FYI- The information to the right is not correct, the photo was taken with a Pentax Spotmatic and 200 mm lens. For those who may not know some of Canada's history, the Group of Seven, were seven Canadian landscape painter's that were together from 1920 to 1933. Hickson 44, a group of interacting galaxies in the constellation Leo, lies approximately 80 million light years from Earth. In the background are many fainter galaxies which are much more distant.
NGC 3190, the largest galaxy just right of center, is a spiral galaxy seen almost edge on. Its characteristic dust lane is its most prominent feature. To it's lower left is NGC 3187, a barred spiral galaxy, and to the upper left is NGC 3185, another barred spiral with a smaller bar. To the right is NGC 3193, an elliptical galaxy.
This galaxy group was qute a challenge from our light polluted skies. Additionally, the waning moon chased us across the sky each night. We collected 169 6-minute Luminance subexposures (just under 17 hours) and another 11 hours of RGB. Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop. Shot in Samphran, Thailand by Mike Selby, Andy Chatman and Stefan Schmidt.

Cet été pendant mes vacances j'ai fait un petit détour pour aller voir la musaraigne. Ce furent deux jours inoubliables ! On a ri, on s'est baladé, on a échangé des conseils et astuces. Mais surtout on a pris des photos <3 Plein plein de photos.

During my holiday I made a little detour to see the musaraigne. It was two wonderful days ! We laughted, hanged out, traded advices and tips. But above all we took photos ! <3<3 Lots, lots of photos.
To begin, what would be a doll meeting without group photos ?
And a very terrible one at that. I decided to take a group pic today, and got them all ready when I woke up...but my room has no windows, so I had no idea it was almost dark already when I woke up...Sad, isn't it? Well, none of my lamps that I use for pics are big enough for all of them..so...Meh. Taken with flash...in our Great Room...lol. It's not even part of where I live..but it's where the computer is! xD So I spend most of my time in this room. They all look so lifeless..Dx

An interesting thing I learned on my trip is that people in southeast Asia learn in SCHOOL how to meditate and quiet their minds. They learn young how to do this, and most do so - regularly. Wish I could do that!

The second 'Honk for Hope' UK coach event took place in Blackpool on 14/07/2020 and attracted around 200 coaches for a convoy along the M55 and along the Promenade before returning to the South Car Park at the end of Yeadon Way.
The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of the plight many operators currently find themselves in. The UK government has offered no financial help to coach operators due to the Covid pandemic almost wiping out their businesses.
The event was very well organised and attracted plenty of media coverage along with enthusiasts possibly enjoying their only event this year!
Explored some virgin tunnels with Dr. Tongs & some friends.
Had a lot of fun getting this last shot of the night, it was a massive space to paint.
