This architectural drawing was prepared for James Moore Esq by John W. Pender. Plan No. 1 consists of the cross section and ground floor plan of James Moore's residence in Singleton, including the front and back verandahs to be added. The tender notice was put out on the 19/5/1877, and constuction was contracted to Geo. B. Lloyd and Frederick White on the 11/7/1877. It is thought that the additioal verandahs and balcony were completed during 1877.

This architectural drawing was prepared for the Trustees of the Methodist Church. The plan consists of a front elevation, section on A.B., section on C.D., ground floor plan, side elevation and first floor plan of the Sunday [School] Memorial Building in West Maitland, NSW. A. Howarth was the builder.

Simpson & Brown have announced proposals, resulting from extensive research and consultation with interested parties, for the regeneration of Perth City Hall and, moreover, the revitalisation of the city centre.
A permanent Market Hall, planned and equipped for the purpose and let to first-class stall-holders specializing in high-quality food and household goods, does not yet exist in Scotland yet is familiar in many European cities. It will exert a unique attraction to Perth from the whole surrounding region. The building lends itself beautifully to adaptation for this purpose. This new style of retailing is complementary to conventional shopping in and around the High Street. Indeed, it will provide much-needed reinforcement in the present economic recession: the greater the pressure on consumer expenditure, the greater the public concentration on essentials. Together with the additional restaurant and cultural uses envisaged, City Hall will become the beating heart of the city, to the benefit of St John's Kirk at one end and the St John Centre at the other.
A special corporate entity is in process of formation, whose principals are ready to agree terms and conditions with the Council for a long lease of the building, on the basis outlined. Also included, purely for illustration, is a projection of potential revenue from the Market Hall. The promoters are confident that this scheme for conservation of the building will earn support from the authorities, that the project is commercially viable and will enjoy universal popularity. On receipt of the necessary permissions, work on site will be started without delay, for completion within 18 months.
The Project Manager will be Vivian Linacre, resident in Perth, who is a Founding Member of the Society of Property Researchers, a Founding Member of the British Council of Shopping Centres and for many years the Scottish representative on the Management Committee of the International Real Estate Federation's British Chapter.
