Faire les courses est souvent une activité réservée aux femmes.

Rares sont les hommes mariés osant affronter seuls les affres des rayonnages de nos grandes surfaces.

Bon, tout de même les choses ont plutôt évolué positivement en soixante ans.

Il y a néanmoins des courses qui ont un aspect plus viril que d'autres, comme les courses chez le boucher...

Honestly, one might think this little hole in the wall, would have nothing to offer, yet they have everything.. ( almost imaginable )

and some of the down home friendliest people ever , on the face of God's green earth...

One would really enjoy, just a goin' in and chattin' a while ...

and I have no problem there ...

It's that sense of directions, that sometimes, get me lost right smack dab, in the middle of nowhere ..

This train got on duty at Fort Steele while I was still sleeping in Banff. Even after shooting a few trains on the Laggan and Windermere subs, I caught up to it near Fernie and shot it there. Not satisfied with my shot, I made a quick pit stop at home, dropped off some groceries, and kept driving. I finally got ahead of it again just outside of Sparwood, set up for another shot, and this time, I was much happier with the result.

I dont know what was going on in this image. I was down at the Ocean Reef Marina and a large grocery truck turned up and reversed in towards the moorings and then a lady from the large catamaran that is often berthed there came out and took in some empty crates from the truck. Im assuming they were loading up fish/crustaceans for sale at the markets. Anyway, I was really taken by the colours and the scene and so snapped off this photo using film simulation mode. Again, very little editing of the image other than cropping.

Continuing with the full frame series of my groceries, I am sure this could go on for some time. I feel like the lentils pop more than the walnuts did, I had better directional lighting today. Practicing this concept daily will help me improve in composition, make my subject selection easier since I am stressed about taking too much time, and create a series of photos for stock phototgraphy as well.

Walking onto the bridge coming from groceries shopping before it goes crazy due to pandemic coronavirus. Saw this beautiful sunset sky, that I cannot come to pass, I snapped few takes before the color of the sky changes or fades away.

UPDATE...book is on shelves in Halifax! Yay..so I guess it is out in Canada today too.
