Griff the Drake bulldog made a visit to Monroe Elementary School to visit with the little huskies on Thursday, October 24th. Monroe is just one of the many stops this month for Griff’s literacy tour, so he was a bit tired from all of his travels. Dressed up as The Lorax, Griff and his faithful Drake companions read The Lorax to kindergarten and 1st grade classes before receiving a few scratches and pets. Out back we decided to make it the tailgating section. We used a table to use for the base of the truck we made to put food on later in the day.
