Little ('Dangerous') Eddie is 5 months later this week. Dreaming of big (& dangerous) adventures, no doubt!

my neighbor over the back fence here at the shore has rented her apt. upstairs to a lovely young couple with twin 2 yr. olds, a black lab and 2 cats!

There's always something entertaining going on over in their yard!

This is Trudy, one of their cats.

Evidently one of her favorite pastimes is sitting on the roof on the other side of their back deck to watch whats happening on our side of the fence.

Most afternoons I come out my back door, there she is, staring at me with those big, round eyes!

Kaiser loves sitting on the stone near our buddha statue. I would like to say it's because he finds peace and calm there, but in reality it is one of the very few stones that will accommodate his large behind.

We have temperatures in the mid 30's at the moment which is very draining as it is humid as well, so we are taking it easy this weekend. Also, I am back to work on Monday after my two week holiday: can't say I am looking forward to it:-(

Happy Furry Friday everyone

Wishing you a peaceful and chilled weekend

Three of the cats enjoying the autumn sunshine on the bedroom windowsill. They've positioned themselves so that the perspective makes them look much the same size, but Eddie (grey tabby) is the biggest, Bonnie (black half Siamese) is the middle & little Jasper (ginger tabby) is only half grown yet.

Rose (resident grey tabby)

Eddie & Charlie are now 1 year old.

Charlie on the 22nd April & Eddie on 2nd May.

It doesn't seem 5 minutes since we got them!

Phoebe's eyes have always been so big and eye catching, almost like a full moon.

this is my Andrew and he is truly one of a kind... can't get close enough to us, or anyone!!!

Wasn't Eddie a tiny little kitten, like, 5 minutes ago? What happened?? He's still a sweetie - but a chunkier one :)

Leider nur die Handycam dabeigehabt... ;-)

Unfortunately I only had the phone cam for this capture...

Poppy is a little stinker. I went out to bring him in the house, and I looked everywhere for him, and finally I spotted him there. He was hiding from me, because he knew outdoor playtime was over. He just was holding still and was hoping I didn't see him. He is such a naughty cat, but he makes me smile too.

Sonny when he was a kitten playing a basket.

It took us a few days but the kittens have been named Charlie & Eddie. They have settled in really well - compare their relaxed expressions here with the previous pic I posted of their first evening - they look a lot less startled now :)

The kitten formerly known as 'Eddie' is thoroughly fed up with being cuddled & told he is cute....

He says he is ferocious - a force to be reckoned with - & from now on wants to be known as 'DANGEROUS EDDIE'....

Here he is trying to prove it with a fightening snarl!!

His brother Charlie doesn't care what you call him :D

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Sonny always there to greet us in the driveway when we come home.

Bonnie (black) is now almost a year old, & Eddie (tabby) is only 7 months, but he's already bigger than her & she can use him as a chez longue :)

Charlie & his half-brother ('Dangerous') Eddie discover the warmth in sharing a furry cat bed .... Better enjoy it whilst they're still small enough to both fit in at the same time :)
