RAM helmets render, that i done while preparing for the GSG's 5 second projects current theme - harder, better, faster, sronger. Models are made and provided by greyscalegorilla, and the rest is done by me.

Trying to replicate the look of the opening titles from the movie Pacific Rim (originally created by the studio Imaginary Forces www.imaginaryforces.com ). Render time for this still on my 12-core Mac Pro was 7 minutes, so I'm obviously doing something wrong...!

 

Uses Greyscalegorilla's HDRI Studio Pack and C4D R15's Mograph.

Made these using Maxon's Cinema 4D, its a great program and definitely worth getting a free trial if you haven't tried it out theres loads of tutorials that come with it to get you started. Other great tutorials for the program can be found at:
