Grévy's zebra; Equus grevyi: Mpala Research Centre, Laikipia County, Kenya

Grevy's Zebras at Singapore Zoo- I had last seen this species in the Al Ain Zoo in the UAE way back in 2007. The Grévy's Zebra, also known as the Imperial Zebra, is the largest living wild equid and the most threatened of the three species of Zebra, the other two being the Plains Zebra and the Mountain Zebra. Grevy's Zebras are found in parts of Kenya and Ethiopia. Compared to the other Zebra species, Grévy's Zebras are taller. They have mule-like, larger ears, and have the tightest stripes of all zebras. Grevy's Zebras are also characterized by their distinctly erect manes, and more slender snouts. (Singapore, Sept. 2023)
