A visit to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park on the outskirts of Doncaster, Sunday 4th October 2020. The centrepiece of the Into Africa zone is African Plains, a large multi-species paddock themed around the African savannah. Species in the enclosure include ostriches, a mixed group of Rothschild's giraffe and Reticulated giraffe, lechwe, grevy's zebra and common eland. The Grévy's zebra is the largest living wild equid and the largest and most threatened of the three species of zebra.

On a very rainy day in a very rainy week, I visited the Sacramento Zoo. The Grevy's Zebras were sheltering under a shed roof but came out when I approached.
I was wearing my zebra shirt so we went to see the zebra. This was a gravy zebra or something like that
