Pink, small, and punctual,
Aromatic, low,
Covert in April,
Candid in May,
Dear to the moss,
Known by the knoll,
Next to the robin
In every human soul.
Bold little beauty,
Bedecked with thee,
Nature forswears
Antiquity.

Warm thanks and greetings to all Flickr friends, who encouraged me yesterday when I was down.

One frame from a time-lapse video.
Shot with a Canon video camera.
Processed with Adobe CC Lightroom and Photoshop.
That depiction of the camera to the right is totally wrong - the Sony FDR_AX53 is a short cylinder shaped video camera.
Lunch time as Eunice begins to show an impact here. We were promised blizzard and whiteout conditions ... though not severe wind speeds, like Storm Arwen. Looks like it could be so .... no power cuts so far! We are prepared ... but hopeful.
Happy Fence Friday!

“The Greeting to the Sun” monument in Zadar, Croatia.
“… three hundred, multi-layered glass plates placed on the same level as the stone-paved waterfront. It consists of a 22-meter diameter circle, with photovoltaic solar modules underneath. Lighting elements installed in a circle turn on at night, and produce a light show. The monument, designed by Croatian architect Nikola Bašić, symbolizes communication with nature, …” —Wikipedia

Dear Flickr friends and visitors,
"Have yourself a merry little Christmas, let your heart be light." ... let your loved ones know how much they mean to you, and give your friends some extra love. It’s a great time to draw close to the people in our lives and be thankful.
Take care of yourselves and each other and let's hope together for a better New Year.
Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!
Today is my last day in Warsaw! Heading home tomorrow.
This picture were taken at the old town in Warsaw! The Old Town was established in the 13th century but almost totally demolished in the second World War. After the war Old Town was meticulously rebuilt. As many as possible of the original bricks were reused. However the reconstruction was not necessarily built accurately to pre-war Warsaw, often by deferring to an earlier period, attempting to improve upon the original, or by adding an authentic looking facade to cover a more modern building. The rubble was sifted for reusable decorative elements, which were reinserted into their original places.
Today Old town in Warsaw is listed as one of Unescos world heritages sites.
