A scene that I’ve shot several times over the years in various conditions, and every time I visit this spot, it amazes me how green and lush the area is. At the time that I captured this scene, everything was still.....the landscape was quiet. Occasionally you’d get a cool subtle breeze, but the landscape stood still. Almost if the rainforest was asking for its picture to be taken. I love when nature talks like this. It’s moments like this that I enjoy when I’m out with my camera. I just observe. I watch, I listen.
Marty Minnow had heard the stories of the yellow-eyed monster that lived topside but dismissed the rumors as the frightened whispers of little fish. Those little fish being scared by fictitious tales told by their parents in order to keep them safe from more rational threats.
One day, Marty decided to venture a little closer to the surface and scoff at the warnings of his peers. Out of the corner of his eye, two yellow circles began to grow larger - and then - in an instant - it was over. The Green Monster had claimed another wayward minnow.

#FilmFriday time again. This is a shot of TORCWORI (The Old Rusty Cadillac West of Rochelle, Illinois). I did stand development with this one and wish I hadn't. The Bromide drag is pretty dreadful. I think this is actually the shot the convinced me to pick up another set of BTZS tubes and use what worked for me in the past.

The cup and the table are from IKEA. The milk was whipped with a battery driven stirrer from IKEA (cost abt. 1 EUR). The coffee was from Zoega's, very dark. The coffee was brewed in a Bodum Bistro press thing. The blinds are from IKEA.
