Chiltern Railways 68 014 sits at Marylebone Station between departing and arriving Class 165 DMUs. This Class 68 has been adapted to run on recycled vegetable oil and given this rather nice 'Greener Future' paint scheme. Snapped while on my way home from work before the clocks went back and the world got dark. In fact, the last time I managed to get a picture of this loco was last year almost at the same time but after dark and in the same spot. Since then I've only spotted it in the yard at Chilterns Wembley depot a couple of times in passing.

Fifty Shades of Gris is a barrel-aged 2016 edition of imperial gruit ale, Grandmaster O.G., a past silver medal winning beer at the Canadian Brewing Awards. Five months in pinot gris barrels have imparted a wine-like character to this imperial-strength gruit made with Labrador Tea, bog myrtle, thyme, and yarrow. Fifty Shades of Gris pours hazy orange with a white foam. Aromas are of lemon curd, with subtle oak and white wine. Herbal thyme flavour melds with zesty, lemony, vino notes. The finish is dry and slightly tannic. INGREDIENTS: Local spring water, organic barley malts, organic hops, Labrador tea, organic bog myrtle, organic thyme, organic yarrow, brewer’s yeast.
