Had an enjoyable evening at South Gare on Teesmouth near Redcar, Teesside at the weekend. Treat to dramatic skys, double rainbows, glorious light and sunset over the quaint Paddy's Hole. Not bad for an evening at a local spot for me.

Panachaikon Mt.

The two Highest peaks:

On the left: "The Crazy's Tower" (1928m),

On the right: "Voidias" (1836m).

Prasoudi plateau, between the two peaks (the mountaineering shelter can be seen).

Erimanthos Mt. is rising on the backround.

We were treated to a particularly psychedelic sunrise this morning & couldn't help myself from picking out the turbines on the horizon with my telephoto zoom lens. Had to do a bit of cropping to get to where the action was in the photo. I used to think that turbines were a great idea but we had too many of them around here. But I have now learned to love their beauty. Plus we need much more clean energy. Bring on wind & sun power.

This is what it looks like after a wave power plant, built in steel and concrete, got to taste the forces of nature along the coast. Everything destroyed and it will not be rebuilt.

A sunrise over a local wind farm, which was taken a few weeks ago.

The colours of blue and yellow remind me of the Ukrainian flag, and one can only have sympathy for the population, for the madness that is now being inflicted upon their country.

Take these broken wings

You've got to learn to fly

Learn to live and love so free

And when we hear the voices sing.

Zum Ende des Tages konnte noch ein grüner Werbe-Smartron [192 034-7] der RheinCargo GmbH (RHC) mit einem Kesselwagenzug aus Ingolstadt in Richtung Munich Airport fotografiert werden.

At the end of the day, a green advertising Smartron [192 034-7] from RheinCargo GmbH (RHC) was photographed hauling a tank wagon train from Ingolstadt towards Munich Airport.

I used some lo fi processing for this shot, which I took back in October 2021. South Lynn Windfarm is located just offshore from Skegness on the Lincolnshire coast. I shot this image from the nature reserve at Gibraltar Point, which is a place I highly recommend if you love wide open vistas and watching seabirds and migratory birds.

Originally built as a 5 Sail Windmill in 1830, after storm damage it was restored in 1890 with 8 sails, a new cap and machinery from a windmill in Boston, Lincs. Heckington windmill is the last surviving 8 Sail Windmill in the UK.

Next door is the old engine house and sawing mill is the 8 Sail Brewery and taproom. The award winning 6 barrel brewery has been open since 2010. Malt for the beer is milled in the adjacent windmill.

A friend who is far away is sometimes much nearer than one who is at hand. Is not the mountain far more awe-inspiring and more clearly visible to one passing through the valley than to those who inhabit the mountain?

Panachaikon mountain plateu, windmill park, 1800 meters high approximately.

Last nigh drving back, I tought that I would do a little stop at the wind mill park to see the stars. The roads are bad to get there, I should only go with truck not car...anyway I enjoy and found a nice little spot. So here is Windmill #66 vs milky way.

I think my shutter was bit too long(30sec) the stars are trailling just a bit.

Wind turbine in a barley field, I would have preferred a little light on the spinning blades but I was there at the wrong time of day.

WIND PARK EEMSHAVEN - The total power of this wind park is 276 megawatts and it is currently the largest rotating wind park on land in the Netherlands. Wind turbines are usually 100 metres high. The Wicks are 44 meters long.

For a magazine I made this photo. It stands for durability and being economical. It was great fun to make this. I had to "snitch" some coins out of the piggy bank of my daughter though hahaha! Hope you like it.

Sunrise golden hour shot of a hiking trail that seems to lead to the wind turbines in the distance

The world is already on fire and being flooded and yet our efforts to move towards green energy and use less of our land for meat production whilst planting more trees remains lethargic.

In the end, will man consume himself in stubbornly chasing more gold? The story of the Lord of the Rings is being retold....

There were quite a lot freight trains operating on the KBS 980. DB Schenker`s 185.389 "CO2 free energy" was hauling EZ 51882 from Mannheim to Munich - interesting enough this locomotive`s advertisement is also supported by Audi.

More windmills from the North of Groningen. I think these windmills are photogenic..

From the archives. Things got in the way and I never looked at these shots till now.

Kind regards, Reflection and silhouette Hunter.

……Not a particularly good shot but interesting how far you can see from the top of Sale Fell - Solway Firth and Scotland off beyond, a stitch of two shots taken hand held on an enjoyable Fell walk. As for wind - there was plenty on top of Sale Fell so I’m sure it would be coming up the Firth!!! BTW, it's not as near as it looks - more than a stroll away which is what it looks😃 Mid point of the week and going well I hope, stay cosy & locked down to stay safe and to keep EVERYONE else safe too! A VERY BIG THANK YOU to ALL the key workers who are carrying on to benefit the rest of us - we applaud you all. Alan;-)👏👏👏👏👏
