A pedestrian crossing in Tehran at night.

(crossing the streets is sooooo scary!)

They come in all colours....!

All life, as if an endless moment...

Seasons change after season.

This whole wonderful world was in white,

Then suddenly it becomes green again...

Where is the line, the one beyond which this life is?

Where is sensuality, and where is rationality?

Where is what we call MIRAGES,

And where is the inexorable reality?

And the world - it is as if woven from problems,

The mysteries in it are sometimes inexplicable,

But we live in it for some reason, why?

Everything in this world is so inexplicable...

We want it to be simple, why?

To understand everything that we do not understand?

So that no one understands

Everything that we feel and everything that we know?

What are we striving for, what do we want to understand?

First we create, and then we destroy again,

We are so used to losing so much,

That our souls become hardened from losses.

We are used to life, and it is only a moment!

I just started living, and life is already coming to an end,

And this world remains a fairy tale

A mystery, once unsolved...

I do like quaint doors, this one found in Lydd, albeit a few years ago. Hope it's still there.

Green Heron is a small species among the members of the Herons family, and has distinctive colouring with greenish wings and back and a rich chestnut neck area. This individual was hunting in a wetland of Fish Creek Provincial Park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
