Looks like the cat's got its tongue here. Or perhaps it ate a few kittens. It is looking huge! Maybe an unflattering angle shot from below on the treetop walk.

Maleficent needed something... like green flames. She had green flames in the movie so why not here as well?
I believe this tentacle belongs to the hydra known as Hydra viridissima or the green Hydra. The green colour is from the green algae Chlorella which live symbiotically in the gastrodermis, or inner layer of cells.
The body of the hydra is topologically a hollow spheroid, i.e., it is like a glove blown up with air. The cells walls of the body and tentacles are really only 2 cells thick. The inner cells, i.e., the green ones here, make up the gastrodermis which is responsible for digestion. The ectodermis is the lighter colored structure on the outside. There is a structureless lamellar layer in-between. This layer is evident in this micrograph.
The ectoderm's is covered with the nematocysts which fire a tethered harpoon into the prey. Roughly at the center top and bottom of this micrograph are two nematocists and the associated cavity for the "harpoon". The spines on the tentacle are sensors which trigger the nematocists. In-between the namatocists are the epitheliomuscular cells which are responsible for the muscular action. Finally there are smaller interstitial cells which are a form of stem cell. I wish there would be a Emerald Green Saran ore Kanekalon aviable.
I tryed this time to boil wash the Hair but it didn´t came out the way i wanted. So i had to straighten it with my curling Iron afterwards.
This time the Fiber was different and it dosn´t kept the Curls after brushing out the excess Fibers.
But it is also shinier than the brown and beige Yarn.
I want them back, these warm, bright summer-days. These days with the magical light around 6 o'clock!

My first attempt at green pea soup, with dried shiitake mushroom cream. Always thought that green peas were fairly insipid as a side vegetable - remember how we use to count our peas as a kid before popping them into our mouth.
Cooked and pureed, the entire essence of fresh green peas is captured in that single spoonful of soup. The shiitake cream adds a nice earthy punch to the soup.

The Green Hairstreak holds its wings closed, except in flight, showing only the green underside with its faint white streak. The extent of this white marking is very variable; it is frequently reduced to a few white dots and may be almost absent. Males and females look similar and are most readily told apart by their behaviour: rival males may be seen in a spiralling flight close to shrubs, while the less conspicuous females are more often encountered while laying eggs.

The site offers 6 first-come, first-served primitive campsites between the peaks of Green Mountain and East Green Mountain, just below an active fire lookout. Whether using it as a base camp for exploring nearby attractions like Crack in the Ground and the Four Craters Lava Field, or simply seeking an out-of-the-way site with stunning sunrises and sunsets, visitors willing to brave its washboarded dirt access road will not be disappointed.
Know Before You Go:
Access is via rugged dirt roads that may be impassable at times. Four-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Facilities at the Green Mountain facilities include 6 designated campsites, a vault toilet, picnic tables, and fire grates. This is a primitive campground so please pack out all of your trash. The fire lookout atop Green Mountain is manned from June through October. The nearest services are in Christmas Valley, Oregon.
Directions: From the town of Christmas Valley, head east on the Christmas Valley Highway for approximately 2 miles. Turn north (left) onto Crack in the Ground Road and continue for about 5 miles, and turn left onto Lava Craters Road, following signs to Crack in the Ground. Follow the road past this site for about 4 miles, following the road for another 3 miles as it turns west and north and becomes the Green Mountain Road (BLM Road 6109-00).
Point of Interest:
The campground offers numerous vistas for viewing and photographing sunrises, sunsets, high desert storms, and night-skies.

This is the year of the Green Iguana (Iguana iguana) in Florida. The rainy months have been a boon for this invasive reptile and their numbers have grown substantially.

Sustainable Systems and Green Materials
1) Photovoltaic solar energy system
2) Grey water recycling system - takes water from the -bathroom sinks and showers, and the washing machine, filtering it and pumping it to the fruit trees in the garden
3) Rain water collection system
4) Passive Cooling - uses low windows on the windward side and high windows on the leeward side of the house. Cross ventilation is maximized by eliminating most of the interior walls and aligning windows and sliding glass doors. Ceiling fans are distributed across the ceiling to move the warm air out when there is no natural breeze.
5) In order to reduce the size of the house, we used efficient efficient custom storage system of movable shelves and cabinets runs through the length of the house. This allows for a smaller, but smarter building.
6) Natural Daylighting - uses interior clerestory windows and transoms to allow all of the rooms to borrow light from each other.
Materials
1) recycled flooring for the first structure, patched together and left roughly finished.
2) plywood floors for the second structure
3) Ceilings of both structures are plywood, cut into horizontal boards.
4) Composite decking made of recycled content.
5) All of the Interior doors are made of recycled flooring from the existing house
6) Poured in place concrete countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, use recycled fly ash
8) Non VOC Paints and Stains
9) All plumbing fixtures are low-flow energy efficient
10) All electrical appliances are energy star rated
-LED and fluorescent lighting fixtures
11) Ductless Mini-Split HVAC system zoned for maximum efficiency
