Bold and architectural, agapanthus are strikingly beautiful plants that have become very popular in recent years.

My neighborhood Deer really love these flowers, it has been a long time since i have seen a flower on my agapanthus. 1 for me 20 for the deer.

Before this trip I had never seen snowplows working before, after seeing them in action I can say they are now my favorite railroad subject to photograph. The pair of SD40-2's for power doesn't hurt either! Here the Revelstoke plow is clearing the south track at Greely as an eastbound container train will be here shortly.

This is the most frequently identified butterfly in North America. Here it is feeding on flowers of a low shrub surrounded by ficus vine leaves. HGGT
