Taken in Lorne Victoria @ 06.07 (yes that's right), 45 mins before sunrise on 6th April.

ISO 200, 183 SECS, f8 @12mm.

 

Single exposure processed twice in raw and blended as layers.

Golden hour at the Bay of Islands; part of the Bay of Islands Coastal Park, a 32 kilometres (20 miles) long coastal reserve, between Peterborough and Warrnambool.

The Park itself, is part of the Great Ocean Road. Lookout areas in the Park in addition to the Bay of Islands are: Bay of Martyrs, Three Mile Beach and Childers Cove.

There's a wonderful little boutique in Apollo Bay called Shoo Envi, which has the most fabulous range of shoes and bags and beautiful accessories like this gorgeous umbrella, which the owner very kindly let me photograph!

Costruita dai soldati di ritorno dalla prima guerra mondiale tra il 1919 e il 1932 con l'intento di dedicarla ai soldati deceduti in guerra, la strada è il più grande monumento ai caduti del mondo.

Attraversando vari terreni lungo la costa e fornendo accesso a diversi punti di riferimento importanti, tra cui una serie di faraglioni di pietra calcarea conosciuti come i Dodici Apostoli, la strada è un'importante attrazione turistica della regione.

Built by soldiers returning from the First World War between 1919 and 1932 with the intention of dedicating it to the soldiers who died in the war, the road is the largest war memorial in the world.

Traversing various terrains along the coast and providing access to several notable landmarks, including a series of limestone stacks known as the Twelve Apostles, the road is a major tourist attraction in the region.

The Loch Ard was a sailing vessel which was wrecked at Mutton bird Island just off the Shipwreck Coast of Victoria, Australia in 1878. The Gorge was named after the ship in honour of the people who died that night.
