The town of Tenterfield is a three-hour drive from Brisbane, 2.5 hours from Byron Bay, two hours from Armidale, New South Wales and 7 hours from Sydney.

I have never done any landscape photography before so I thought I would have a stab at it. Please be kind as it is my first attempt.... This was taken from Mt Tamborine's western escarpment looking out towards The Great Diving Range.

Flying over Towonga Gap, looking east over the Kiewa Valley with Mount Beauty to the right and Towonga to the left. At 1986m above sea level, Mount Bogong (right of the smoke) stands proud above all its neighbouring Victorian peaks, with them forming the southern end of Australia's Great Dividing Range. To the left, the view extends down-valley towards Wodonga and the NSW border, as far as Upper Gundowring. Mount Beauty and Feathertop dominate the view at the right edge of the shot.
This panorama is stitched from 8 10mm shots and is the first I've attempted whilst flying. Despite rocking about in my glorified swing, and moving about 10m between the first and last shots, the resulting panorama has came out quite well. Most noticeable distortion has been cropped off the bottom edge.

This place is awesome, a Wildlife sanctuary this was within the original footings of the property first built on the land in the 1800's.
So quiet and secluded, amazing place to get married.

This is my second attempt .... This was taken from Mt Tamborine's western escarpment looking out towards The Great Diving Range, but just a little bit further down the road from Experiment One :)
