I don't know why that pipe thing is there. maybe the toads are plotting something.
I actually put them on the rail because they had been right outside a window and were too loud. later I moved them farther away because they were still too loud. didn't matter, because the next night they were back to where I found them, except there were three of them singing instead of two. :s
I found this little guy on the side of the house outside my bedroom window. He's an Indiana Gray Treefrog.
I heard the frog again and investigated the window further. the crack that he was hiding in was formed because the window wasn't completely shut. weird window that opens at the top. I nudged the little guy out and shut the window. he's missing a toe but that wasn't from me!
