Male Northern Harrier, Point Reyes. I have been birding and photographing birds for a little over a year and had hoped to be able to capture one of my favorite birds: a male Norther Harrier. I got lucky when this harrier came up the bluff towards me
Clearly he doesn't know how to read because there were a number of "NO TRESPASSING" signs on the container and on the property.
The male N.Harriers were not visable in the morning at Blackwater. But in the late afternoon, three started patrolling the fields. They are very difficult to get close to. They definately avoid human contact and always seem to veer away.
The Grey Ghost continues his strikes against the impoverished City of New Orleans...wasting your tax dollars by painting over removable and or cleanable artwork. (Okay...not all of it is artwork, I concede, but most of it is still cleanable).
This is just in the Lower Garden District...the French Quarter Collection is coming up next.
If you want to improve your city, start by helping your city, not causing it more damage!
