This was the coolest looking dog! The same color as the
Weimaraner. I need a faster lens, though. Or to work more with
the shutter speed and aperture settings. These dogs were
moving too much and it was hard to take pictures that didn't blur.

My wife's family was visiting from out of state. We decided to visit Southport, NC on Saturday. Photo taken from the shore of the Cape Fear River in Southport. Near the end of our visit, a Brunswick County Sheriff boat accompanied a tow boat towing a sailboat.
I was so far away, I thought the female harrier was chasing off a kite. But, thanks to the magic of digital photography, I see it was a male harrier. Hmm.. BTW, this is right next to the tree where...
