Small Waterfall but pretty and requires a pleasant 50 min hike uphill.

Wouldn’t it be boring if things didn’t come down, for one thing the world would empty pretty damn quick. As with waves, the wow factor of that big one reaching its crescendo is rapidly replace with the fascination of it falling back to earth. I find the more meteoric the rise the more graceful it falls when gravity kicks in. A bit of a life lesson here, if you are travelling to the stars remember in the end it will all come crashing down, so make sure you have landing gear and do it gracefully.

Taken at about the same time as the previous shot but not so low down in the undergrowth so there was a bit more light to work with. It was pretty dark and really cold though!

Sometimes you can feel the universe pushing and pulling. The pull of gravity on us all, and sometimes I just wish I could be weightless.
Mood: Coldplay - Gravity (Video HD)
Waiting for a splash at high tide, this one rained in the air as if the world were suddenly turned upside down. Catching the water droplets airborne, meant for an instant, they were defying gravity.
But as with all things, a second later, they were once again brought back to earth. In addition, the clouds helped this shot. They framed the droplets between them selves and the surf, drawing more attention to their short lived life of levitation.
Seeing this photo I am proudly surprised by the great imagen I achieve with my 7artisans 12mm f2.8 lens.
Being my cheapest lens and because of its focal length away from the typical 35mm, I never thought that it would have the potential and performance that has. I'm so happy with it. Really a good choice.
