...It isn't exciting anymore :(
Every time I’m ready to leave
Always seem to be
Pullin’ in the wrong direction
Divin’ in with no protection
Man, you can’t keep steerin’ me wrong

I really like this, I think it's one of those times that I like something and no one else does. Some of my friends are like "well, it's just a pile of CD's....". But I don't see that. I think it's so beautiful how light reflects off CD's and creates such awesome colors. I think the simplest things are beautiful, though.
Sorry if none of you on Flickr like it, I really want you guys to love everything I post. Art is so subjective.
I don't like having things up that you guys don't like, cause my ultimate goal in photography is not to please myself, but to please others and for others to find inspiration, happiness, sadness, or just any emotion in my work.
I wish every day that I could inspire others like Kalie Garrett, Lissy Elle, Rosie Hardy, Kane Longden, (I'd link them but I'm lazy and I'm sure you all have them anyway) and some of my other favorite photographers on here inspire me. But I also know that sometimes I have to be happy with something with I love, even if other people don't see anything in it. I'm not really sure where that line is drawn, though.
Hope you all are having a great holiday.

A demonstration gravity slate train passes through Minffordd station during the Ffestiniog Railway's gala weekend on 6th May 1990. It was clearly generating plenty of interest but I can't recall how I obtained this advantageous vantage point.
The leading edge of a denser turbidity current as it intrudes into less dense clean water. The edge develops a pattern of lobes and clefts due to an instability.

I spent a little bit of time shooting at Helen Allison Savanna yesterday. Not much has leafed out yet, but at least the skies and the clouds were scenic, enhanced here by the use of an orange filter.
Last year the wetland (foreground) of this image was an ephemeral pond much of the summer, with about half a meter of water in it and a flotilla of ducks paddling happily around it. After a particularly dry fall last year and minimal snow this winter, it's dry. I walked right through the middle of it without even getting my boots wet.

Beginning February 10th, the sermon series is called GRAVITY—what brings us down from our relationship with God. It is based on Shawn MacDonald’s song, Gravity.
Each week we will be centering on something that brings our relationship with God down, and how God builds us up.
Feb 10—The gravity of giving in based on Matthew 4:1-11
Feb 17—The gravity of Ignorance based on John 3:1-17
Feb 24—The Gravity of Shame based on John 4:5-42
Mar 2—The Gravity of Prejudice based on John 9:1-41
Mar 9—The Gravity of Death based on John 11:1-45
March 23—Easter Sunday is ZERO GRAVITY based on Matthew 28:1-10
Currently this slide will be ran during announcements, I will have 2 other variations for this. The first being the sermon title page in powerpoint and then the second being just the apple and female.
The concept of an apple suspended in the air with a person below is set and agreed upon. I'm not sure how to incorporate the type. I would appreciate and suggestions regarding type placement and how to make the apple look like it's moving more (I applied a small motion blur).
