reminders to use my senses, listening to crows, smelling pine needles, feeling cool air on my cheeks and arms, for the way my body responds to exercise, the way my mind clears... for hilarity at school and meaningful work, for another warm day and a bowl of homemade soup eaten outside under the grape arbor... and for thoughts about how leaving space to reflect throughout the day allows for more gratitude than i could have imagined.

I am grateful for my two cats who bring so much love and fun to this house. They are funny, serious, demanding, apologetic (I think), and talk to me in their own ways: Obby my 30 lb. orange American Bobbed Tail and JAXson, my shy, passive aggressive, loving and yet solitary older gentleman. They love each other as brothers. They make me smile on dark days when I need a smile. GratitudeChallenge #8

When I came home from a long meeting this afternoon, it was to the simple, ordinary graces of my toddler's face breaking into an enormous smile when he saw me come up the stairs, my husband already having dinner cooking in the oven and the fading daylight giving the nursery a golden glow.

Being grateful for the things we have is good for our wellbeing. We're grateful for all of you, our friends and customers! What are you grateful for in this moment?
