The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was invented by a Vegetarian. His name is Rorion Gracie. It is the origin of octagon cage fighting and modern mixed martial arts as we have come to know it today in the octagon. The vegetarian also created the practice of cage fighting in an Octagon, the octagon was also invented by the vegetarian.
You may have heard of Gracie Jiujitsu. This was invented by Rorion Gracie's father, Helio Gracie, of the Gracie Family, the forefather of Gracie Barra. Helio Gracie, the inventor of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu GJJ was also a vegetarian.
Uncle Carlos is Carlos Gracie, brother of Helio Gracie, a vegetarian and that is who developed BJJ, Brazialian Jiu Jitsu. BJJ is a must-learn technique for every MMA fighter in the UFC today, if not in the world. That is, if they want to win, the meat-eater had better learn what was invented a hundred years ago by a Vegetarian man or they won't last the ring.
Pollo-Vegetarian Royce Gracie also won the very 1st UFC #1! And the vegetarian had to fight those who weighed up to 250+ pounds! Not only did he beat all the other meat-eaters, he beat all the other meat-eaters in 1 night!
And then to prove it wasn't an accident, he did it again! A vegetarian also won UFC #2 and vegetarians have been dominant in the UFC ever since, though you may not know it just like you probably didn't know vegetarians invented it.
Vegetarian Mac Danzig beat all the other meat-eaters to take the belt on THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER. Danzig is not just vegetarian, he is vegan, and he was the largest, most massive muscular man on the entire show.
Vegetarian Nick Diaz also won THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER. So did Nate Diaz, also a vegetarian. The StrikeForce middleweight champion Jake Shields is a vegetarian. Heavyweight Frank Mir ate vegetarian at 280 pounds. Randy Couture beat 6 foot 8 Tim Sylvia and Couture trains on an alkaline plant-based diet. The EliteXC martial arts belt holder is a vegetarian. UFC fighter Aaron Simpson is a vegetarian. Jon Fitch ranked #2 in the world at the current time is vegetarian. Ben Saunders MMA fighter is a Vegetarian. Luke Cuomo who made it to the semi-finals and the finals on The Ultimate Fighter eats vegetarian. WEC champion Urijah Faber trains on a plant-based diet. MMA fighter Kyra Gracie is vegetarian. Ryron Gracie of the Gracie Mixed Martial Arts clan is vegetarian.
Penny Thomas, the world Brazilian Jiujitsu womens champion is vegetarian. Nicolas Gregorades of the Jiujitsu Brotherhood fighting academy is virtually all vegetarian. Shanti belha, 2-time world Brazilian Jiujitsu fighting champion is vegetarian. Ahmed El Ghandouri, Brazilian Kiujitsu Black Belt is a vegan.
Dave Meyer of the American BJJ Academy and a blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Machado--is vegetarian.
The original ultimate fighters the roman Gladiators were mainly vegetarian. Kung Fu was developed by the Shaolin Monks who were vegetarian. The very Art of Martial Arts itself was invented by Bodhidharma who was from India, and was a vegetarian.
Bellator Fighting Championships Ricardo Moreira is a vegan. Eric the Bengal Castile, in the UFC is a vegetarian. Heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson is now a vegan. StrikeForce fighter and NFL Football player and Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker is a vegetarian. The Dream3 Grand Prix Fighting championship belt is owned by a vegetarian.
The TITAN Fighting Championships fight winner Jason High is a vegetarian. Vegetarians are now ranked in the top 2,3,and 5 spots in the best p4p in the world in the UFC welterweight division, meaning that vegetarians hold 66% of the top rankings in the UFC's welterweight division. Antonio McKee who established Rampage Jackson's Gym is a vegan. AKC trains vegetarian UFC fighters. Noah Hannibal "The VEGAN TANK" is a vegetarian powerlifter who beat all his other opponents and took gold in the Australian Powerlifting championships. MMA Fighter Dale Hart is a vegetarian and has an unblemished 5 and 0 record. All wins.
MMA fighter Erik Purcell is a vegetarian. The vegetarian Purcell just beat 6 foot 6 inch Aaron Skates at the Reality Fighting Championships. King of the Cage fighter Tom Kenny is vegetarian.
UFC Heavyweight contender Shane Carwin is now training vegan. Heavyweight 120kilogram Jan Muller is vegetarian. JiuJitsu champion Henry Atkins is vegan. MMA Fighter Georgi Krakhanyan is vegetarian.
Finland fighter Harri Nieminem is vegetarian. So is James WIlks, vegetarian UFC fighter from England in the UK.
And many more. You probably didn't realize that so many UFC fighters and current belt holders and MMA champions were vegetarians, because they are often not preachy about it and don't make it known, but they have recognized the best most-athletic and muscular endurance diet for athletes and UFC fighters is plant-based vegetarian and vegan. Your cardio power shoots through the roof. You can out-last, out-hit, and out-muscle other opponents who don't know what hit them. Plus, nobody wants meat-eaters to find out that a vegetarian diet is better, that's like giving away the secret, so vegan and vegetarian fighters sometimes keep tight lipped and let meat eaters continue to post and convince all the others that meat or steak is what you need before a fight, that way their opponents will gas, get tired out, be weak and not have any strength, and once again lose do to a meat-based diet. Lowcarb is even funnier since you can actually get opponents to go around eating bacon, sausage, and piles of fat and get them loaded down, obese, and likely to fall over, that is if they even make weight. Likewise the Paleo Diet has now been found fake and scientifically wrong, proven wrong by actual Paleontologists. Turns out the original discoverer of Australopithecus, a real paleontologist revealed man's ancient ancestors were vegetarian, including Australopithecus africanus, Paranthropus boisei, Ardipithecus ramidus, all vegetarian ancestors of man that came millions of years BEFORE paleo man. Turns out the Paleo Diet was fabricated by a "gym teacher" who was not even a paleontologist and was never on even 1 archeological dig.
The Paleo Diet was ranked 24th by experts in nutrition, problem is there were just 24 in the list for review, which means The Paleo Diet came in LAST place, the worst diet of all. --Yes, the Paleo Diet was found deficient, pseudo-scientific nonsense made to appear like it was scientific, and the Paleo Diet lost and landed in last place as the worst. This is also a reason why crossfit has become the laughing-stock of the athletic and fitness world, akin to the shake-weight of fitness. Or the mullet. Crossfit fitness centers often have what's called a "puke bucket" lying around. They like to claim this as somehow being proof that their workouts of little light burpees and things is 'so tough' but really it's just because crossfit people start eating the Paleo Diet and it tastes so bad and is so horrible for fitness and athletes that they vomit it back up. All kinds of partially digested meat and so forth, right there in the gym when they work out. Didn't know this? Do a search for "Crossfit Puke Bucket" you'll see it. They even wear T-shirts bragging about puking on it in crossfit, because the paleo diet tastes so bad. Imagine how much worse it tastes on the way back up. Robb Wolf recommending sausages and things. Great for sausage-lovers probably, but not real ironmen or mma fighters or real athletes.
Crossfit is pretty much like ladies' pilates. MovNat is like having someone come over and do your housework, carrying out the trash, and mopping up the bathroom for you. In any case, the foods recommended by the gym teacher who peddled the Paleo Diet were found nutritionally deficient, and Paleo Diet foods have now been linked to colorectal cancer (cancer of the butt). This is why Paleo and Crossfit have become ridiculed as 'so silly not even a caveman did it'. Referring to the fact that the Paleo Diet told to people in the books is NOT even what paleolithic man turned out to eat. For instance, on a real paleo diet, you'd have to eat maggots in your meat, afterall, paleo man scavenged putrifying meat. Also you can't refrigerate your meat, on a paleo diet, then you'll need to keep your meat outside, in the hot sun, because paleo man originated in Africa. So on Paleo you'll need to eat luke warm rotted meat, brimming with botfy maggots in it. Oh, and you can't drink treated disinfected water, cavemen didn't have tapwater out of faucets, sorry. Nor bottled water. So if you're on paleo you'll have to drink out of some watering-hole where animals wash themselves.
Drinking feces ound delicious? If you think so, then Paleo is for you. Just don't expect girls or the ladies to be around you because unlike vegetarians, men on a Paleo Diet it's been shown to cause horrible B.O. stink and odor. Oh, and paleo man didn't have a toothbrush. So ladies, if your boyfriend ot date is paleo, look forward to low stamina, offensive Body Odor smells, cavemen didn't have showers, and getting close to a mouth full of bacteria because paleo man didn't brush their teeth.
Vegetarians do not have this problem. And last longer, were scientifically measured in tests to have More Testosterone than meat eaters, smell better, comb their hair, and have higher stamina, and endurance. And better protectors. Afterall, vegetarians invented Martial Arts, BJJ, and the UFC.

The Largest Bodybuilder in the World is a Vegetarian.
Dalip Singh, known as the Great Khali is 7 feet 3 inches tall. And 435 pounds of muscle mass. This is larger than any Omnivore bodybuilder. Thus a vegetarian beat every other meat eater, including bigger than 7-time Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates. Dorian Yates is pictured above, with Dalip Singh nest to him, and stating quote: "I felt like a small child next to him", about the massive vegetarian.
The reason is that plant-based muscle is of higher quality. Bodybuilders already know this, that's why if you go into any Body Building Nutrition store, virtually every protein supplement is vegetarian. Whey Protein (from milk) is vegetarian. Soy Protein and Soy Isolate protein is Vegan, and Egg Protein or albumin is ovo-vegetarian.
You do not find packets of chicken paste. You do not find jugs of fish protein powder. You don't find chocolate protein bars with little bits of bacon and beef in it. Why? Because meat is horrible for bodybuilding.
Plants have more protein than meat. Not many people know this. If you think plants don't have protein, and protein is only available in meat, where did the meat come from? A cow. Where did the cow get all that protein? From plants. This means all the protein you believed all this time came meat, actually came from plants. So meat eaters are essentially getting vegetarians and vagans' "sloppy seconds". Meat and Steak eaters meals already went in an animal's mouth first. Vegetarians are getting it from a more pure source, and do not have this problem.
Under-educated meat-eaters may erroneously scoff that plants are rabbit food. Well, that meat-eater probably couldn't even catch that rabbit since the rabbit is faster, that's why they call it a JackRabbit. However not only vegans but also everyone in the world could point out that if plants are rabbit food, meat is MAGGOT FOOD.
Try this experiment yourself, or, just in your mind, leave a piece of meat out in nature, within 15 minutes that thing will be found by botflies, landing on it, tasting it, walking all oer it, ingesting it, and laying fly eggs in the dead meat tissue. Steak is maggot-food, quite delicious to maggots. This is why the smell of meat and dead bodies are one of the most repulsive, disgusting odors known to humankind. There is no worse stink than rotted meat, humans can even remember the smell for weeks, indicating that humans since paleolithic times have never been genetically designed to eat raw meat like a carnivorous lion would eat a dead carcass. In addition, archaeologists unearthing our ancient ancestors such as Australopithecus africanus, and Australopithecus ramidus from as far back in human history as 4.5 million years, have now been confirmed to be vegetarian. That's correct. Humans originated as vegetarians. Unlike mere authors of Paleo Diet books, who are not actual paleontologists but sometimes only aerobics instructors without a science degree, the fact that hominids going back as far as 80 million years were vegetarian and did not eat meat, has now been confirmed by real Archaeologists and Paleontologists, including from the National Academy of Sciences. Sorry Paleos, the Paleolithic Caveman Diet has been debunked and exposed to be a scam made to look authentic using pseudo-science, in order to dupe less educated people into buying their diet books. Another example is that these crossfit paleo diet charlatains who had a good run told everyone that no hominids ate grain prior to 10,000 years ago---until real paleontologists found actual pieces of grain still embedded into the teeth of paleolithic men, 19,000 years ago, then 30-thousand years ago, then 105,000 years ago, and more. Sorry if you believed in Paleo and were duped. Get angry at the lowcarb and paleo diet book pushers, they are the ones who tried to pass off scientifically debunked information and took people's money, laughing at you all the way to their bank.
By the way, if you also believed the Atkins low-carb "diet" you should be aware that the guy who duped all of you with that one, Dr. Robert Atkins, is dead. He told everyone that eating loads of fat, bacon, and meat was great for your heart and sold it to people as a diet. Atkins died when he fell and hit his head, the medical examiner found signs of heart disease and a stroke. And his death certificate reveals he was fat. So much for bacon and meat and saturated fat and a deficiency in carbs being great for your heart...Atkins was apparently killed by his own diet, and died obese.
A vegetarian centenarian Christian Mortenson is also the longest recorded documented human to have ever lived. A vegetarian centenarian Fauja Singh, just set the first ever record for finishing a marathon in his age bracket, over 100+. No other 100 year old person in history ever was able to do this. He did it. And he is a vegetarian. So in addition to massive muscle, as a vegetarian you also enjoy long life and good athletic health.
The Biggest Most Massive Muscular Bodybuilder in the world is a Vegetarian. He is so massive that he dwarfs Olympia class bodybuilders.

How To Do Bodybuilding using Crossfit and the Paleolithic Diet.
STEP 1: Join Cross-Fit and do little "fitness" exercises like "Burpees" and jumping around, which don't build muscle.
STEP 2: Become duped into falling for the now debunked "Paleo Diet" which is high-fat and high-meat which makes your bones weak and depletes carb energy so your body then has to burn protein to get enough fuel to operate, which then teaches your body to essentially Eat its own muscle, making your muscle mass dwindle away.
STEP 3: Buy and go around wearing an inflatable plastic muscle costume suit.

Paleo Bodybuilder! [Photo] - The world's biggest Crossfit Diet Bodybuilder.
The Paleo Diet has been ranked as the WORST diet by US NEWS & WORLD REPORT. 24 diets were reviewed for nutrition and hoax claims by a panel of 24 experts in nutrition and medicine. The Paleolithic Diet ranked 24th out of 24. Deal Last place. It failed and was unsatisfactory.
Even the principle of the diet has been found debunked. First, even think about it. Cavemen lived to the ripe old age of only about 29 before dying. Remember, there's no infant mortality in this figure, it's not a census, these are the dating of each actual real paleolithic individual's bones. If you want a diet where its followers die sooner than other people, Paleo is the one for you. Even the Inuit have the lowest lifespans on earth. The Masai people are also some of the worst on earth.
Next, The Paleo Diet as told in the fad diet books, is not even identical to what paleolithic man even ate. Many people who are less educated actually believe the diet sold to people in Robb Wolf's and Mark Sisson's and Loren Cordain's books IS the diet than ancient humans ate. This part is even false. Here's an example. Cavemen didn't have tapwater. Nor bottled water. Cavemen drank pond water. Potentially filled with germs, bacteria, and giardia. So, that means, if you're paleo, you cannot drink tapwater out of your house, or drink bottled water. In fact, you can't drink treated water (processed!) if you're on the "paleo diet" at all. You have to go outside, and drink untreated water out of a bacteria infected stream, out of a lake with fish and animal feces in it, or drink out of a puddle. Or you could drink out of a watering hole where wild animals have been washing bacteria and dander and lice out of their fur and may have feces and urine in it.
Of course, according to Robb Wolf, Loren Cordain, Mark Sisson, and their 'primal wisdom' you are expressly designed to eat parasites and bacteria--afterall, cavmen did it for (thousands/millions) of years, so according to the Paleo Diet, you not only should, but you EVOLVED explicitly to drink pond water. And you are expressly forbidden to drink processed (sanitized and filtered!) bottled water, or from your faucet or from in your house.
In addition, these paleo hoax diet authors that are behind paleo fad diets and the much ridiculed "crossfit" (laughing stock of the exercise world, akin to the mullet of fitness) try to tell you to eat beef. Well, surprise, beef, including grassfed beef didn't even exist until 2800 years ago when Herefordd and Angus cows were genetically bred. Cavemen didn't have it. So you can't eat beef. Paleos go on about barring grain because (they say) it was from 10,000 years ago(paleo diet turned out to be false about that too), but that means BEEF is only coming from 2800 years ago, so guess what, it's artificially genetically crossed and bred, it's part of the agricultural period, and BEEF IS NOT PALEO.
So you can't eat steak on the paleo diet.
Cavemen lived in caves. So afterall, that's why they call it the "Pale" eo diet. If you adopt the whole paleo 'lifestyle' you're a 'caveman'. So you'd have lived inside a cave. Therefore you'd not get much sun and the result would be pink albinism. Also vital nutrient deficiencies such as Vitamin D which is produced by the skin in the presence of sunlight.
Paleolithic hunter-gatherers in the Arctic would also be pale and sickly looking, as in the icy cold Cavemen didn't go to the beach. Also on the Paleo Diet you can't brush your teeth, so you have to let the bacteria grow in your mouth.
The mouth is the first stage in digestion. Saliva and bacteria begin breaking down food. So if you brush your teeth, or use mouthwash (non-paleo! processed!) then you are killing vital mouth bacteria on your teeth and tongue that were part of every paleolithic caveman's diet. Cavemen didn't have a tooth brush. And it's involved in diet. So paleos don't brush their teeth. Perhaps this is why many have halitosis and meat-breath.
If you look at existing paleo examples, such as masai or native tribes or inuit, they are either all really skinny and spindly looking(tropics), or really fat(arctic). This is because Paleos weren't good bodybuilders, they either had to be quick to runaway from animals, and run long distances, like having to run after a vegan antelope that can run 30 miles at 25 miles an hour, so their muscle would be winnowed away (picture a marathon runner's thin sinewy legs in your mind, that would be the evolutionary result), or, in cold areas, the most desirable evolutionary trait would be to be FAT. Afterall, it's cold outside, so blubber provides insulation. Look at seals and walruses, they live in the arctic and they're fat. That's why. They eat a primitive primal diet of fatty fish and blubber, which will make you fat, like an elephant seal. Also, paleo man in the arctic would not want to be lean at all since you may need to go days or weeks without animal food in the arctic. Much less even seeing an animal, so paleo man in the cold would be fat, to have a lot of fat stores to depend upon when hungry. Not to mention eating all that fatty oily greasy fish and not taking a shower.
This is why the Paleo Diet is possibly the worst diet in the world for bodybuilding. Cavemen were pallid, skinny sinewy muscle and bone in warm areas, and in cold climates paleo diet man gained loads of Flab as insulation.
How to use the Paleo Diet and Crossfit to become a huge massive muscular bodybuilder.
Learn how calisthenics such as jumping around, WOD, and burpees can deplete your muscle mass, and paleo diet food such as grassfed beef are now linked to diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and colorectal cancer.
But you can still get an inflatable plastic muscle suit and wear it out to your favorite nightclubs or to the gym.

It has now been revealed that vegetarian diets beat virtually all other diets for building massive muscle. Meat and Steak has been found to contain ladies' estrogen. Men who eat meat, once believing that it was more manly, grow over time more feminized.
What they discovered is that livestock meat farmers have been implanting meat and steak with a substance called "17-beta-estradiol", this is women's estrogen. Therefore when you eat meat, steaks, hamurgers, any meat at a restaurant, or BBQ, men have been eating girls hormonal pad secretions. You can confirm this yourself by simply putting "SYNOVEX-S CATTLE ESTRADIOL" into google. What you will see are the places cow farmers have been getting meat implants of female hormones and pumping it into cows which remains in your steak.
Why do they put this in steak? Because cow farmers wanted to get more money from you meat consumers. They used female hormones to fatten up the cows to make them weigh mor (bloating), so the meat farmers could get more per pound off of you, and didn't want to tell you they've been doing this for years. If you've been eating steak, you've been ingesting pre-menopausal ladies pregnacy fluids.
That's why so many men who brag about eating a lot of meat, over time begin to grow a paunch stomach, fat waist, wide female like hips and pelvis, and a flappy chest. Meat eaters were found to have lower testosterone levels than vegetarians. This is because a vegetarian man has more testosterone and has not been ingesting meat and steak which contains ladies effeminizing horomones.
Grass-fed beef does not solve the problem. Grassfed beef also contains hormones. This is ironic since the same farmers who told you meat was manly and were putting female hormones it it, are now selling you grassfed beef as if it is guaranteed organic and steroid free, it's not. The FDA certification for grass fed beef has nothing about it being organic. Grass-fed beef can still contain hormones, even though touters of it will deny it. However you can easily check this with the FDA which confirms its not, and that is a Federal Law. You've been sold another scam.
Even if your grassfed beef was organic, it still contains estrogenic compounds. ALL meat when cooked, especially when barbequed, grilled, fried, contains what are called "heterocyclic amines such as PhiP" (look it up. google it). This not only acts like estrogen, it causes cancer. So all the while someone has been telling you to ingest 'grass' fed beef, it's been effeminizing you and linked to cancer. So in addition to the recently revealed Paleo Diet scam in which the paleolithic diet was found to be false, grassfed meat has now been exposed as a ruse. Not that grassfed beef was even paleo anyway, because Black Angus and Hereford cows only came into existend genetically bred 2800 years ago, during the agricultural revolution of civilization. Not from Cavemen. In the time of Cavemen, this beef didn't even exist, so beef is disqualified from being allowed in the paleo diet. You can't eat beef on a Paleo Diet. If you're on a paleolithic cavman diet you cant eat beef, hamburgers, steak, barbeque, or any cattle meat. It's not paleo. Cavemen didn't eat it. It didn't exist.
The Paleo Diet, Crossfit, etc have all been revealed as unscientific scam fad diets that were made to appear scientific by perpetrators such as Mark Sisson, Robb Wolfe, Loren Cordain, The Primal Diet, etc. And urged along by a known front organization revealed to be fallacious known as the Weston A Price Foundation which was found to be dispersing false nutritional information made to appear scientific but found to be flawed and factually incorrect.
The best sources of protein are vegetarian, and the most massive huge muscled BODYBUILDER IN THE WORLD IS A VEGETARIAN.
Vegetarian Powerlifter, Bodybuilder, Plant Based Protein Diet, no meat, massive bodybuilding muscle.
5-time Mr Universe and Power lifting strong man Bill Pearl.
MASSIVE VEGETARIAN MUSCLE - A Vegetarian vs Dorian Yates Mister Olympia Bodybuilder - Who's bigger?
Vegetarian beats Paleolithic Caveman diet. Eating meat teaches your body to burn protein. Paleo diet teaches your metabolism to eat muscle tissue and make your muscles eventually grow more tiny.
Barbequed meat contains compounds called heterocyclic amines. One of these is called "PhIP", this compound in meat is Estrogenic. In other words, Steak, even including Grassfed and Organic meat contains substances that act on your body like the hormones of a Lady.
ALL meat when cooked, especially grilled, contains compounds that act like Estrogen. This includes Chicken too. And Fish. In fact, all animal proten contains this. Vegetables do not form this. Plant protein does not have it. Vegetarians do not have this problem.
Steak and Meat, exactly like those contained in the Lowcarb and Paleo Diet all contain heterocyclic amines and chemicals that work like womanly estrogen. The Paleolithic Diet will not only teach your body to eat away muscle tissue but also due to the estrogenic effects of meat, Low-carb high-fat high-meat diets will make a man tend to grow more and more feminine over time. Such as a fat stomach, sloped down shoulders, a pooch belly, and a flappy chest such as in gynecomastia. Paleo Diets are Catabolic, not Anabolic. Our ancient ancestors 4 million years ago were vegetarian. And the vegetarian human ancestor known as Australopithecus Boisei, or Paranthropus was bigger. Yes, our hominid ancestors didn't eat meat, hominids were originally vegetarian. Meat eaters came later and the meat-eaters were smaller. Archaeologists found that the bigger, more muscular skeletons were mainly all Vegetarian. To this day, the worlds biggest bodybuilder at 7 feet 3 inches tall and ripped with Muscle, is a vegetarian.
VEGETARIAN Mr. Olympia Bodybuilder! - Pollo-Vegetarian Albert Beckles takes #1 and pulls off the win at the Mister Olympia IFBB Body Building Championship at the Night of Champions!
The Pollo-Vegetarian had superior muscle quality and packed on huge amounts of protein all with NO Red Meat.
Not only that, but since vegetarians have higher longevity and remain more fit for a longer period of time, pollo vegetarian Al Beckles pulled this off with massive amounts of plant solid muscle-mass at the incredible age of 53!
The world-class level no-red-meat-at-all vegetarian also won the Mr. WORLD AAU MOST MUSCULAR and the world champion vegetarian is featured on the Truly Huge body-building website.
The protein-packed vegetarian strongman reached #2 in the world, and even won the Grand Prix New England BodyBuilding Championship.
Plant-based diet vegetarian protein yields higher quality muscle which is superior to a meat-eater who needs some other animal to eat the plants first for him before he eats it second-hand. Thus meat-protein is more flabby and less solid and lower quality than a man who obtains the more superior vegetarian-based rock-solid protein muscle.
Plant diets are also higher in Iron than meat, and meat is contaminated with the type of iron called "heme" iron which is known to be weaker and cause heart problems in anyone who eats meat. Iron in plants is also more absorbable because plants contain ascorbic acid vitamin C which supercharges the better quality plant-based iron.
Albert Beckles is still today considered to have some of the most amazing musculature in the world, especially his rippling arms, and is famous for what he acheived in his biceps. All acheived eating NO RED MEAT.

The Paleo Diet is based upon what grok the Caveman did, and ate. Cross Fit applauds the Paleo Diet, which was ranked last by medical experts in USNEWS & WORLD REPORTS. If it wasn't done by cavemen, then it shouldn't be done by you.
This is why if you join crossfit, you don't shower after working out and getting sweaty. Afterall, Cavemen didn't have showers. Or soap. So in order to preserve the bacteria, you should wear it. Don't worry, crossfit gyms have something called a "crossfit puke bucket" if either the smell of paleo B.O. or the horrible taste of raw organ meats makes you have to throw up.
Crossfit Fitness palaces have pukebuckets because the paleo diet is hard on the human body, and wrecks cardio and endurance, so even a light-weight workout of burpees often makes crossfitters throw up. Then lie on the floor full of sweat because they are mentally and athletically exhausted. Paleo and Crossfit make your muscle dwindle, because the paleo diet is catabolic. Without enough carbs, your body needs to cannibalize something else. First it's fat. This is why those on lowcarb atkins paleo ketogenic diets often report losing weight, at first, but then these diets exhaust the fat and begin using protein as fuel. Yes, that means if you go on a Paleo diet, or lowcarb, or atkins, you're essentially "teaching your body to eat away at your own muscle". By eating high protein, your body now thinks protein is fuel. What else is made of protein? Muscles. So you've taught your body to eat it's own muscles, decreasing their mass. Paleo and lowcarb, deprivation of grains and carbs, is the opposite of what you want for bodybuilding. Picture african tribes, they're all skinny and sinewy. Like the physique of a marathon runner, not a bodybuilder.
Thus the Paleo Diet and Crossfit have become the laughing-stock of the fitness world, akin to things like "The Shake Weight!" with so many testimonials of people saying how "it works!" and "It worked for me! I lost weight!". Of course if you believe anecdotes and before and afters and chat board commenters, then every infomercial and fitness contraption and diet plan are the "best" right? Because they ALL have pictures of before and after, and people absolutely VOWING up and down that it worked for them. Watch for people touting crossfit and paleo like this. You'll see it. Meanwhile they're teaching their bodies to deplete their muscle. It's catabolic.
And with the estrogenic effects of the compounds now found in steak, including grassfed beef, and even organic meat, men who eat grassfed beef, especially barbequed, begin to grow more effeminate due to the effects of heterocyclic amines only found in meat, such as "PhIP". PhIP which is in grassfed meat and steak has effects like feminine estrogen on males. This is why Crossfit Paleo Diets lack the proper nutrients and come up deficient for bodybuilding and ranked last among diets in terms of human health.
Minnie keeps getting out to come join the fun. We're boiling sap today, and she's really enjoying hanging out with the pups. As long as they play, I'm letting her stay, but she started rooting up my flower bulbs, so I just put her back in with Ginny. She was furious! I want to play with the pups!

If I were to make a list of things that I know for sure about grass-fed/grass-finished beef it would go like this:
1. It's way more expensive
2. It tastes better
3. Cows live happier lives before becoming my dinner.
It's the things that I've been told however that interest me the most about grass-fed/grass-finished beef. They are:
1. The balance of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fats are almost exactly what the human animal should be ingesting.
2. Lean beef with in a Paleo diet is not only very satiating but it provides protein and good fats that our bodies can easily process for instant energy.
On top of this, I have a few questions though:
Q: Is searing the beef actually bad for you? I've read that it creates carcinogen, a cancer causing agent.
A:
Q: Is aged beef actually a bad thing, because the aging process exposes the beef to bacteria that thrive on dead animal flesh, and this is what makes the flavor so awesome?

Lab grown meat will never match the nutritional density or environmental stewardship of grass finished beef.
Why this rooster crossed the road is still unanswered, because they can freely walkabout the lawns and pastures at the Tuckahoe Plantation, in Goochland County, VA, on Thursday, May 5, 2011. Where chickens graze on the grass they also leave nutrient rich manure to revitalize the soil, enhancing regrowth. The plantation was the boyhood home of President Thomas Jefferson from 1745 until 1752. Today the plantation is a working farm with cattle, sheep, chickens and rabbits supplying meats to Fall Line Farms a local food hub. Fall Line Farms offers a wide variety of household food staples and specialty items on an ever changing inventory of fruits, vegetables, meats, soaps, eggs, cheeses, flowers, honey, pastas, sauces, syrups, baked goods, mushrooms, flour and grains. Suppliers post what they have on a Lulus Local Food online listing and customers make their selection. Every Thursday, suppliers team up to deliver customized orders to, one of several pick-up points, designated by the customer in or around the Richmond, VA area. USDA Photo by Lance Cheung.
Do you see that magical substance wrapped in a gold foil comforter of amazingness. It's Kerrygold butter from Ireland and its amazing. How amazing is it? Let me count the ways.
1. Grass-fed cows made this butter and you can taste it in every bite.
2. Grass-fed means the Omega 3 and 6 fats are balanced closer to your bodies natural needs. There's been no whackery that will make your liver work over time and leave a fat tire around your mid section.
3. Butter is instant energy for those of you who get up and move around. If you just sit on your butt all day, it might make you a little loose in the cage. Get up, move around and if you're feeling really inspired, workout with some kettle-bells. Grass-fed butter is even better afte a workout. Not sure why.
4. Butter makes almost any meal better. You know that steak at TEXAS RoadHouse you love so much. The baste it in butter just before they bring it to your peanut shell filled table.
To Be Continued…
The story goes something like this. My family went to UDI's whom we've had a love hate relationship with for a while now. I love the food and the place when the service is good and when they are open. But, they choose random days to be closed and the service is spotty. The only real reason we go back is because my son who is Celiac loves their gluten-free creme brûlée and I love to make the kid happy. So imagine our disappointment when we found out that they'd stopped making the creme brûlée because "they are opening another store and want to make all of the stores a bit more sophisticated." First BITE ME with your sophistication. Creme brûlée is as snobby as any other custard and removing one of the two gluten-free deserts from a restaurant that is know for being GF friendly is crap. Regardless, we didn't kill the messenger but instead emailed the head chef explaining the situation and our desire for him to reconsider.
Now I am sure you're thinking, this is a bit over the top for a damn desert. Maybe, but the waitress went on to explain why all of the dishes seemed smaller and a bit more expensive that we remembered. Any guesses? This is what I hate a bout a place like UDI's. They were already pricey for what they were but now they are going to charge more money for less food to be more sophisticated. Again, BITE ME Udi's .
Oh, the image :) Creme brûlée is easy enough to make at home, we just don't typically keep the heavy cream at home because we find ways to use it a little too much. But for a dad, that just wants to reward a good kid, we're becoming creme brûlée experts. We call this one the BITE ME Udi's brûlée.
Julia made meatballs with our favourite Little Creek grass-fed beef. Very tasty, and not too dry because of the breadcrumbs, parsley and onion. The spicy tomato sauce was filled with chopped onions, basil and a little sliced chilli.
Approximate amounts: 500g minced beef, 2 heaped tablespoons breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, minced onion.
The colourful dish of vegetables is a wonderful mix of brocolli, red capsicums, garlic and oregano, tossed in olive oil, and baked until tender. Healthy and easy!

Daniel Thompson plays out a line of wire across one of the pastures at Tuckahoe Plantation, in Goochland County, VA area on Thursday, May 5, 2011. When anchored and staked, the electrified fence will keep the cattle and sheep herd in the proper pastures where they graze on the grass and leave nutrient rich manure to revitalize the soil, enhancing regrowth. He does this once a day. I think it's 60x zoom. I can't remember just now and the microscope attachment is at least 8 feet from my lazy ass right now. This is pretty much what I expected to see from a waaaaaaay close-up shot of cheese and I can almost taste the crystallites of it all. While some people ponder what superpower they'd have if they could pick only one or which celebs belong on their "no questions asked" list… I ponder the following. If I had to give up cheese, chocolate, or coffee which would it be? It's a tough one really. Imagine that you said cheese and then you found yourself gazing into the seductive layers of a Tiramisu? They pain that would come over your body as you realized that this magical creation has cheese in it. But suppose for a moment that you had picked coffee. Again, with the pain and anger of knowing that there is in-fact coffee in tiramisu. OH the pain! Now imagine that you'd picked chocolate. BLASTED BUGGERING HELL. No wonder this is the best desert know to man. But here is where this story turns tragic. Imagine that you never had to give these awesome ingredients up and that you could eat them any day of the week only to find that the last magical ingredient is the one that does the real damage. Yep, you guessed it. Those damn little lady fingers full of the evil gluten! I can't even think about it anymore.
Looks minimal and it is. Simple stuff is a nice change-up pitch of a meal when you've got just above zero units of inspiration. Still, the flavor combos on this plate are pretty impressive and if you've never tried Sumo Oranges with brocoli, you're just not trying hard enough.
Side note: Sumo Oranges are the most practical citrus ever made. The dragon like skins comes to a nub at the top of the orange and in a simple pinch-twist motion you've popped the top on a very easily pealed orange. Buy a few just to experience what would happen if Apple (the computer company) designed and orange.
Home made everything pizza would have been a better name. But at the end of the day this gluten-free, grass-fed behemoth was just what a hungry family needed to wrap the week.
Rabbits are the newest arrivals to Tuckahoe Plantation, in Goochland County, VA on May 5, 2011. The bottomless rabbit cage is progressively moved about the pastures where the rabbits can graze on the grass and insects, and leave nutrient rich manure to revitalize the soil, enhancing regrowth. The plantation was the boyhood home of President Thomas Jefferson from 1745 until 1752, today it is a working farm with cattle, sheep, chickens and rabbits supplying meats to Fall Line Farms a local food hub. Then every Thursday suppliers team up with other suppliers to deliver orders to, one of several pick-up points, designated by the customer in or around the Richmond area. USDA Photo by Lance Cheung.

We started Bachi Burger with the Strawberry Jasmine Lemonade and the Iced Green Tea. We skipped the boba drinks, because hey, I didn't want to fill my stomach up with little bubbles of tapioca starch before diving in those gorgeously giant burgers that were coming around to different tables!
And there was no mistake in these drinks - if you like Jasmine (Jasmine green tea is one of my favorite teas!), the Strawberry Jasmine Lemonade was exquisite. The jasmine flavor is strong, so you knew they had to brew the jasmine really well before mixing it up with the rest of the drink. If you like green tea, like Shelton (I like it hot only. For whatever reason, I don't like green tea cold, such as in green tea ice cream or iced green tea), an iced green tea would serve well with the rich burger you'll consume later. =)
The Oxtail Chili Cheese Fries is something that one MUST order if you were to ever visit Bachi Burger! Shelton LOVES chili cheese fries, and it's one of his guilty pleasures that he doesn't partake in very often, so when in Vegas...lol...! His only wish was that there was even more cheese so that it would be super ooey-gooey throughout the entire plate. For me, it was perfect the way it was - the fries were crispy, hot and steamed well on the inside, there was enough oxtail and chili throughout the dish, and the flavor was robust and strong. I love fried egg, and it seems to be popping up on menus everywhere. I certainly don't mind! And the garlic aioli that was threaded throughout the dish was simply perfect.
I chose the Ronin Burger, which included Angus Beef, Caramelized Onions, Japanese
Cole Slaw, Miso Goma Dressing, Fried Egg, Katsu BBQ and a Yuzu Citrus Aioli. They cooked my burger perfectly medium rare, and the flavors blended perfectly into a savory, with a hint of sweet on my fusion burger. Oh, that's right - these are fusion burgers of Asian influences, melded into a classic burger. All the burgers seem to have the baked Asian buns, the golden brown, slightly sweet baked BBQ pork buns at dim sum, versus the white steamed buns on the steam cart. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE THINK OF MAKING BURGERS OUT OF THESE BUNS BEFORE? They are amazing! =) Well, I'm sure someone had to have thought of it too. Only Bachi developed the idea and made a restaurant out of it first, right? =)
Shelton got the Kiki Burger, made of Angus Beef, Sautéed Shiitake, Enoki & Eryngii Mushrooms, Caramelized Bacon, Sweet Onion Marmalade, Gruyere Cheese, and Garlic Chili Aioli. This one was more savory, and I think I might have liked this one better. However, either way, these are still the BEST BURGERS EVER. ^_^
Dessert was the Portuguese Donuts with Coffee Ice Cream. Warm, fresh, dense donut holes with sugar sprinkled on the outside, dipped into the coffee ice cream - an indulgent way to end dinner on a chilly winter night. =)
Would we go here again? YES.
AND WE DID.
LOL! =)
We took Shelton's parents with us the next day, to the Sahara location, which was bigger. Unfortunately, their service was slower, and we waited much too long for the food to arrive at our table. =P The Windmill location that we went to first (original Bachi Burger) was much faster in service, and had more people in it too! I'll chalk it up to experience, since the Sahara location is newer, but if I had eaten here first, it would have lost a star. =P The burger meat also wasn't perfectly at medium rare...it went a bit over, and perhaps I'm being nit-picky, but I really do like a good medium-rare cooked piece of beef. Which I couldn't have when I was pregnant, so now that I'm not, I'm definitely indulging in it when the opportunity presents itself. ^_~
Anyway, we ordered the Kiki Burger again for his parents, but we also got a few other burgers that we hadn't tried to split between the 5 of us (we didn't count Penny, as she can't eat these yet, hee hee):
Truffle Parmesan Fries were flavored with parmesan reggiano, black truffle porcini cream, and a sun dried tomato aioli. The cream was nice and earthy, and I could have eaten these all day.
Salt & Pepper Garlic Fries, with a Maui Onion Sea Salt and Garlic Chili Aioli. Kinda like the spicy and salty shrimp that they sell at Asian restaurants ("zeew eem hah"), these were spicy and salty and crispy all at once. =)
We split a Spicy Miso Burger, made of Angus Beef, Onions, Shishito Pepper, Mayo, Lettuce, Roasted Garlic, Cheese, Fried Egg, and an Apple Vinaigrette. Spicy yet light, this burger is for those that want a bit of kick in their bite. =)
My favorite burger of the night, though it was rich, was Miyagi-San's Grassfed Wagyu Burger. Chili Mayo, Fried Egg, Furikake, Caramelized Bacon and a tower of Crispy Onion Rings filled up the inside of the burger buns. I have a thing for crispy onion rings, and their onion rings totally hit the spot. =)
We also got a Crusty Crab Cake Burger, which was a combination of Pan Roasted Crab Cake, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, Fried Onion, Mango Chutney and Tartar sauce. It definitely has a seafood-y crab aroma to it, which is good if you like crab. And the crispy onion rings - you know I like those. ^_~ It was a bit unexpected for me, because my tastebuds were geared for burger meat, and not crab meat, but it was still quite good, and Shelton's mom enjoyed it quite a bit. =)
I'd go again still. But at the Windmill location, and not necessarily the Sahara location, until they gain more experience points. =)
I've raved about these before and they are awesome tasting but as my food education improves I"ve become suspect of some of the ingredients in these lovely fish burgers and have decided to end of life the budget friendly tasty puck. For the curious "parfried in soybean and/or canola oil". I'm just not a fan of either anymore.
Grassfed beef, fried duck egg and speck on brioche bun with eschire butter and white Vermont cheddar, with sweet potato tots.
