Si è concluso il 17 maggio al Teatro Olimpico il ciclo di spettacoli dei Mummenschanz, la celebre compagnia del mimo che da anni incanta il pubblico di molte città del mondo. Il 14 maggio Floriana Frassetto, una delle fondatrici, è stata ospite di un Talk Rufa per raccontare la poetica che sin dagli esordi caratterizza la compagnia e per approfondire con gli studenti il linguaggio performativo dell’arte contemporanea. “Abbiamo deciso di rendere tutte queste maschere mute – ha spiegato la Frassetto – ma di mantenere la gestualità. Abbiamo davvero inventato e scoperto un linguaggio nostro, che funziona nel mondo intero. Infondo noi cerchiamo di risvegliare nel pubblico quel lato infantile, poetico, giocoso, interattivo e questo è uguale in tutto il mondo”

Mercoledì 13 maggio, dalle 16:00 alle 19:00, nell’Aula Magna della Rufa in via Taro 14, si terrà un incontro con Alessandro Marinelli, ex studente dell’Accademia del corso di cinema, autore del documentario Pino Masciari – Storia di un imprenditore calabrese. Al centro del dibattito il film, vincitore del prestigioso Premio Ilaria Alpi nel 2014, che racconta la storia coraggiosa di un imprenditore calabrese che ha messo a rischio la sua vita per non piegarsi alle minacce e intimidazioni della ‘ndrangheta. Alla proiezione del documentario, seguiranno quindi cinquanta minuti intensi ed emozionanti di dibattito, che accompagneranno lo spettatore attraverso le vicende personali di Masciari, tornato a vivere solo da qualche anno alla luce del sole, dopo essere stato sottoposto insieme alla sua famiglia allo Speciale Programma di Protezione del Ministero dell’Interno. A presentare e coordinare l’incontro saranno i docenti Alessandro Carpentieri e Bruno D’Annunzio.
