Mars Design created all the collateral related to 2006's Gen Art Styles, the organization's influential fashion event. The event, held at Hammerstein Ballroom, was sponsored by Motorola and judged by fashion luminaries including John Bartlett, Tim Gunn, Richard Lambertson and Diane von Furstenburg. Mars Design created the show's fashion-forward logo, marquee graphics, brochures, invitations, and full-page NY magazine ad.

it's part of a typography assignment
we had first to make a "pixels" typeface with tiny objects, and imagine a fictive "cultural project" that would be using that typeface
then make an sample poster or folder
my fictive "cultural project" was called Künstler, and it was about Kinder eggs with build-it-yourself famous art pieces, instead of cars & strange animals ;)
this is my poster [http://www.flickr.com/photos/yhancik/354788565/] but cut and folded (see, it really works as a box !)
We read left to right. Books. Gifts. Downward to hell. Was the designer playing a joke? Or had no idea what he/she was doing?
