Grape (or grapes) tagged my fence when I was living on Apgar in Oakland.. funny to see him up outside that hood.
This is Grape Soda Lupine ( Lupinus excubitus ) growing along the side of the Upper Winter Creek Trail coming down from Mt Wilson. If you see it stop and smell the flowers, it really smells like grape soda.
