This is Dushara Jasper J'aint with his breeder Teresa Guldager at the cat show yesterday. Jasper is about 7 months old old and like a typical Somali kitten should be, very active, curious and all over the place. This was his first show and he loved it...
Jasper also happens to be the great-grandson of our own Caithlin and has inherited her perfect ruddy colour.

Lots of logs to balance on and muck to avoid. I thought it was about 50/50 chance that one of them would be going home with wet feet.
Looking out over the horizon we discussed World conditions, the economy and where to go for a quick or not so quick ice cream. We had made many decisions that afternoon and we happily changed all of them. Gratitude and Kindness are everywhere. As evident on a short walk to the ice cream stand where we found laughter to go along with our ice cream treat. I wonder what could I have done that day that would have given me any more joy than I had received from hanging out with my grandson and enjoying his love, laughter and some ice cream.
Cyanotype Print toned in Tannic Acid. Rolleicord Vb with Ilford HP5+ developed in PMK Pyro. Digital negative made with Pictorico Premium OHP Transparency Film. Printed on Hahnemuhle Platinum Rag under Edwards Engineering 18x20 UV lightbox for 14 minutes. Borders masked with Scotch removable Magic Tape.
