The Black Corocora is a very common bird in the river Bita and in the Orinoco, but it does not stop being interesting to photograph it. This is the third photo of a sequence of four of the same bird
This unit is based on the Garmin GNS530 as is supplied with the fitted LCD screen and a PCB with all of the necessary connections for operation, although on this particular unit shown here there's no USB Controller board fitted as the customer is using their own interface system to communicate with it. This model has headers for ribbon cables on the rear to allow users to connect all buttons and encoders to whichever controller they wish.
This caracara was perched on the rock, but I found it a more interesting photo if it included all the rock in the frame
Running during its initial power-up test, the graphics on the screen aren't quite positioned properly, but it gives a fairly good idea of what it's supposed to look like. It's just possible to make out the backlit buttons too, seen here under normal room lighting. This unit is running the Reality XP GNS software, which needs to be purchased separately.
