Something a biti different from me. I have been fascinated with landscapes... at least the closed in sort of landscapes you can see around here. I only had three days in all of October where the light was good, so you may be seeing repeats of scenes (but slightly different).
So before I do that I thought I would do something else first!
Knobby, bumpy, fancy, plain, these gourds have apparently survived and diversified partly because humans think they are cool. lol
Just a few of the good selectection that came from one packet of Chilterns seeds this year.

Another light-painting attempt; my wife very kindly bought me a box of gourds for my birthday!
Although not really in the style of US fine-art photographer Harold Ross (I wouldn't be so presumptuous), I'm definitely inspired by him ([https://www.flickr.com/photos/rossstudio]). It's a challenging technique, but I'm certainly enjoying trying to master it.
I photographed these gourds with a tripod in my backyard. It has absolutely no editing! For the first time in about two weeks, the sun was actually out and even shining! It was beautiful to actually see light for a change!

I used to decorate Gourds when I lived in New Mexico. I was so happy to find some Christmas baubles at my local co-operative and had to buy them for my Christmas tree!
The variety of gourds at Pete's Farm Stand in Walpole, New Hampshire proves that in a New England autumn it is more than leaves that shine.
