The first in the "Opening the Vault" series of MOCs.

Originally taken in Sept. 2013, I haven't uploaded these pics before now due to simply forgetting about them! What a fool.

The group of Mahri-toran, and their turaga, Onur, proved to be really fun builds. The design allows for a lot of customisability, while retaining a simple construction. Also, they come in lots of colours!

Blue Version.

I had grown up with a Sega Genesis, a Saturn, a PSX and a Dreamcast. Gameboy wasn't of any appeal to me until that blue cartridge with the cannon-equipped turtle had made it's way into the gaming market (a year in, to the least).

This was my first Game Boy game.

With X Y Version releasing in a little over a month, why not partake in some nostalgia until then?

It was very easy to develop an affinity for this franchise 15+ years ago. At that time, a fledgling concept that had considered the construction of a partially complex formula that involved a maximum of six monsters, each equipped with four maneuvers would offer a decent level of strategy. For some, the concept of strengths and weaknesses wouldn't click until your're 20 minutes in game, playing backwards by using your water-type to kill off a high-level flying rock-head monster.

Be weary that each cartridge is sprinkled with crack for that addiction is probable, leading oneself to incessantly try and fill up the digital encyclopedia bestowed upon you by a Professor named after a tree to perversely "catch them all."

Just some advice; it would be a sagacious plan to learn sand-attack. It can be quite gratifying when a stronger enemy can't even attack you no matter how incessant their use of the tackle technique is acted upon.

On a side note: Lavender town music is still creepy. You wouldn't catch me within a proximity of that hellhole. If so, I'd just turn the volume down. The urban legend states that the subliminal messages in that tune will cause one's self to become so depressed, you'll commit suicide.

Pikachu = multi-billion-dollars

And the only way that's even possible anymore is with this handy $20 desk reference volume.

Distinctly different from a sign *photo* collector like me. I had no idea this job existed, but it would be awesome.

For the record, these were unfortunately just No Parking signs she was collecting and not the much more ironic "keep off the grass" signs I was hoping for.
