This Gothic style chapel adjoining King's College (which itself was established in 1441) was built 1446-1515. This very grand building is somewhat of a symbol of Cambridge, and is also famous for having the world's largest fan vault.
When I visited Cambridge last November the chapel was closed for visitors due to the Corona virus situation - but now it has re-opened and I am very happy I was able to get an inside view of this fantastic building.
This was a bit of a departure for me....it's out of my comfort zone. Luckily, I have the best support system in the universe. 💗⚡
New from Studio Skye is the Gothic Castle...There really is so much to see...the inside, outside, beautifully stained glass windows...a dungeon that I got stuck in LOL! Delmar Reformed Church, built in the 1800s in a Gothic Revival style. Major additions to the back and to the right of the original church reflect its importance to members in the local community, including many of Dutch colonial descent.
