My model is a real goth, she is not just doing cosplay for the day. She told me that among other things, she'd go up to the annual Goth conventions in Whitby that I have never been to but sound like a great clicking opportunity.

The connection with Goths and Whitby is Bram Stoker. He visited Whitby (now called Britain's spookiest town) and it helped to shape and inspire his famous novel, Dracula. .
