This gorgeus Hydrangea blossom is dedicated to my sweet & wonderful cousin Ida, who suddenly passed away this past Tuesday May 17! She loved flowers, gardening & so much more!
Hello my Flickr friends! After a few days of break, here I am again.
I've been in London in these past days and once again I visited one of the cutest places in this lovely city: Kyoto Garden, inside Holland Park, a tiny space occupied by a nice garden in an absolutely gorgeus Japanese style. Truly a gem to visit!
This long exposure was taken hands free, without tripod, and it was raining really heavily that day! I'm aware it's a bit blurred... But I like it anyway!

Description: Regular viewers of my stream might recognize that this Vertorama is very similar to another Vertorama which I uploaded to Flickr in August last year.
While I was setting up the step-ladder to give me a bit of extra elevation, Enzo was getting rid of some extra energy by running up and down the path. I liked the way that his red T-shirt contrasted with all the yellow canola flowers, so I snapped a couple of images of him running!
At that stage I was still of the opinion that a human figure would almost always spoil a good landscape photograph! Although I did believe that a well-placed person might give an image some extra impact, at the time I felt that it would be so much of a distraction, that it would kindof lock your eyes and perhaps prevent them from roaming around and enjoying the beauty in rest of the scene.
What the heck was I thinking???
Oh, and by the way… the clouds were from another day…

Wishing all the wonderful, selfless, fathers a fantastic Father's Day! I dediacte this Fire Chief Rose to my amazing father who I miss so much & love dearly! When my Dad was in hospial, I used to bring him this rose to cheer him up. One day a single stem had 24 gorgeous blossoms on it! It made for a bright & uplifting bouquet in his room.You are always in my thoughts & heart Papa.

Preciosa vista de la iglesia Parroquial de Santa María de Portbou.
Situada en la explanada de la estación internacional, la iglesia fue construida entre 1878 y 1893 por la antigua Compañía de los Ferrocarriles de Tarragona a Barcelona y Francia (T.B.F); para poder satisfacer el servicio religioso de los ferroviarios y familias aquí destacados.
El proyecto corrió a cargo del arquitecto Barcelonés Joan Martorell i Montells. De estilo Neogótico, en el impresionante edificio destaca su gran rosetón rosetón presidiendo todo el conjunto.

A gorgeus railway image to say goodbye to the year...
A beautiful view of the Parish Church of Santa Maria de Portbou.
Located on the esplanade of the international train station, the church was built between 1878 and 1893 by the former Tarragona-Barcelona-France Railway Company (T.B.F.) to serve the religious needs of railway workers and their families stationed there.
The project was undertaken by the Barcelona architect Joan Martorell i Montells. Built in the Neo-Gothic style, the impressive building is dominated by its large rose window, which presides over the entire structure.
