Once again, one of my favorite places. A small bridge over a lily pond in a castle park, in springtime!

Amtrak's Phase 1 50th Anniversary unit leads the westbound Southwest Chief as the train begins to drop down Glorieta Pass at West Glorieta.
Blue sky, red rocks, a little white stuff on the ground, and a "pointless arrow" on the point was enough to get me out for my first photo of 2022. Despite the cool temps and even colder wind, it was worth the drive and short hike while risking my boots getting caked in that eternal Glorieta mud!

It was a beautiful sunny day, we lingered over lunch on a terrace overlooking the lake. The Dragon flies darted on the breeze and the lilies floated in majestic serenity. It's a hard life, but somebody has to live it.

I spent many days in my youth at this seaside resort and I always wanted to capture the Pier at sunset. Here it is

Smile on Saturday! :-) theme: Bokeh in Green
Don't often partake in this group as I don't always have time on Saturday to comment on peoples submissions. However I couldn't resist this theme as I am a sucker for beautiful bokeh. thought I'd upload it today so I have more time to comment on others submissions tomorrow. HSoS!
Thanks very much for your comments and favourites.

Happy New Year to all Nature Lovers. A male Northern shoveler (Spatula clypeata) was taking off in a classic style with wings fully spread in a downstroke move flashing out the metallic green colours under the Sun. The delightful backdrop Prime Bokeh made the full justification of the royal colours of the male. Pics was taken from Mangalajodi wetland in Odisha, India.
Another image from John Ford Viewpoint in the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. After morning snow showers, the sun came out and the clouds were epic. You've probably seen images from here with a Native American sitting on a horse on the edge of the bluff in the foreground. Just behind me were locals available for hire. Maybe next time.
