this is my first "real" fashion photoshoot, and I'm quite happy with how closely the image matched my mental vision.

Getting a wonderful hat at Goorin Brothers to keep off the sun on a beautiful day.

The only way to buy a new had is after a shot of Dad's Hat. Thursday Happy hour at Goorin Bros. a fantastic store at 1427 Walnut.

did an engagement shoot in this beautiful store where the couple first met. luckily they were frequent customers so we were allowed to shoot in here. i loved all the little decorative touches featured throughout the store.

Michael got one a couple weeks ago. Today it was my turn.

This cap is the "Rubin", from Goorin Bros Hatmakers, in Seattle's University district. "Rubin is a straight 6-panel duckbill in a custom tonal plaid featuring vintage inspired tie fabric underbrim and lining, finished with a soft linen sweatband."

Not my usual style (I'm more of a baseball cap guy), but I like it. Photo by Michael Chuck.

My wife humors me while sitting on the benches in the Charleston Waterfront Park after spending the day walking around Charleston on Memorial Day Weekend, during Piccolo Spoleto 2013.

I must apologize for my absence from flickr over the last several months. Frankly, I have been far too busy with my day job to pick up a camera and undertake that activity which I truly love the most. The day job does pay the bills, after all. I promise that I will make every attempt to get out and around my Lowcountry surroundings over the next few weekends and share with you what I find. If nothing else, it will give me a reason to get out and about more.
