I don't know unicode art it holds up as well in the media-rich environment of G+… A large part of its interest on Twitter is because almost the whole stream is text-and-links-only. #TwitterArt is outside the box. But G+ doesn't just have video, pix, threaded conversations, action records, etc. -- it has animated GIFs (frankly, not my favorite -- a little MySpace) which Facebook doesn't allow.
